Problem: Scott wanted to build a custom dashboard but was uncertain how to use the dashboard builder.

Handling: Bethan Lister walked him through the complete workflow: open builder, add chart, select Cases data source, drag priority to X-axis, use count aggregation, filter for active cases.

Hi, I want to create a dashboard that shows support cases by priority over time. I've looked at the dashboards builder but I'm not sure how to set up the chart. Could you guide me?

Hi Scott, that's a great use case. Let me walk you through it. Open the dashboards builder, add a new chart, select 'Cases' as your data source, then drag priority to the X-axis and use a count aggregation. Filter to exclude closed cases if you only want active work. Try that and let me know how you get on. Thanks, Bethan

Data as of Fri 9 Oct 2026. Text marked AI was written by the brain from the records listed in its made-from link; an AI output that cannot cite its evidence is refused and the previous text kept. Where two systems disagree (for example a contract and the CRM), the key facts show both values and mark the difference.
