Current to 11 Oct 26Merchant Risk Assessment dashboard displayed 2-day-old records despite current refresh timestamp and current data in raw database. BB-Demo reproduced the cache invalidation bug and escalated to platform.
Problem: Dashboard showing stale data (two days old) while refresh timestamp appears current and raw database shows new records. User verified manually.
Handling: Bethan asked for full page refresh. Still stale. Reproduced issue and identified cache invalidation bug where query returns cached results even after manual refresh.
Watch: High priority data freshness issue. Cache not invalidating after refresh affects accuracy and user trust.

- created · Femi Olatunji 4 Mar 2026 12:41I'm seeing stale data in the Merchant Risk Assessment dashboard. The query shows a successful refresh this morning, but the results are still displaying records from two days ago. I've tried clearing my browser cache and refreshing multiple times, but nothing changes. The raw database shows the current records, so the issue appears to be with how the dashboard is caching or displaying the query results.
- public_reply · Bethan Lister 4 Mar 2026 13:28I've picked this up. Just so I've got this right, you're seeing old results in the dashboard even though the refresh timestamp is current? Can you try a full page refresh and tell me what you see? If it's still showing stale data, I'll need the exact query name so I can reproduce it here.
- public_reply · Femi Olatunji 6 Mar 2026 13:11Done the full refresh. Still showing the same old data. The query is "Risk Assessment by Cohort". I've verified in the raw database that the new records are definitely there.
