Current to 11 Oct 26Wes Jago needed to filter a dashboard by date range for the last three months of temperature excursion data. He found the solution in documentation on relative date filters before detailed support was needed.
Wes, a Key Account Manager in the Pharmaceuticals team, wanted to filter his Pharmaceutical Clients dashboard to show only the last three months of excursion incidents. He could not locate the date filter option in the interface.
Bethan asked clarifying questions about dashboard-level vs chart-level filtering. Wes independently found the answer in documentation on relative date filters and confirmed it would work.
This shows positive engagement with the dashboard builder (a Growth plus feature) and suggests the customer actively invests in building dashboards to support their teams.

Could someone walk me through how to do this in the dashboard builder? I've had a look through the interface but I'm not finding the right option.

Just so I've got this right: you want to add a date filter to your dashboard that shows the last three months of excursion data? That's definitely possible using the dashboard builder. Which specific dashboard are you working on, and are you filtering at the chart level or the whole dashboard?
- public_reply · Wes Jago 16 Feb 2026 09:53Hi Bethan, yes that's right. I'm working on the Pharmaceutical Clients dashboard. I want to filter at the dashboard level so everyone viewing it sees the same three-month window. I tried using the filter button at the top but it only shows me field names, not date options.
- public_reply · Wes Jago 16 Feb 2026 10:58Actually, I just realised I should have checked the documentation first. I found a guide about relative date filters. Should work fine for what we need. Thanks anyway.
- public_reply · Bethan Lister 16 Feb 2026 14:52Brilliant! Glad you found the docs. Relative date filters are perfect for that use case. Let me know if you hit any snags. Thanks, Bethan
