Current to 11 Oct 26Neil Ashworth asking how to set up regional filtering so branch directors can see only their own accounts. Bethan Lister provided two approaches: filter option if region is a CRM field, or build a page with region visible column.
Problem: Neil requested guidance on applying regional filters to account search so each branch director sees only their region. Handling: Bethan Lister explained two options: using search filters if region is a standard CRM field, or building a page with region as visible column. She asked for clarification on field type but received no response. Watch: This indicates desire to expand usage across multiple regions with role-based segmentation, a strong adoption and upsell signal.

I can see the account search function, but I'm not sure how to apply a regional filter to it. Is there a built-in filter for region, or do I need to set that up as a column first and search by it? Just want to make sure I'm pointing them in the right direction.
- public_reply · Bethan Lister 9 Apr 2026 18:47Hi Neil, good question. You can filter by region in a couple of ways. First, if region is a field in your CRM account records, it should show up as a filter option in the account search. Just so I've got this right: is region a standard field in your CRM, or is it a custom field? The other option is to build a page showing account records with region as a visible column, then search and sort from there. Once you let me know which approach you'd prefer, I can walk you through the steps. Thanks, Bethan
