Problem: Ruth Ackroyd needed to bulk-update customer record statuses when records change in the ERP system; current manual workflow affected data quality. Handling: Bethan Lister consulted the product team and offered two options: real-time ERP connector sync (preferred) or custom workflow. Ruth requested implementation timeline and cost details. - created · Ruth Ackroyd 24 Apr 2026 08:37We need the ability to bulk-update customer record status in the brain based on changes in our ERP system. Currently we can search individual records and view them, but we can't flag stale records or mark them as inactive when they're deleted in the source system. This is affecting our data quality process. Can this be added?

Just to clarify, are you looking to update records directly in the brain, or do you want status changes from your ERP to sync automatically into the brain? Can you walk me through what you're doing currently as a workaround? That'll help me understand the full picture. Thanks, Bethan
- public_reply · Bethan Lister 27 Apr 2026 09:17Thanks for that detail. I've talked with our product team. Bulk edit isn't on the roadmap in the near term, but here are two options: set up a connector to pull status changes from your ERP in real-time, and the brain reflects those automatically. Or we could build a custom workflow to flag records by date. Either needs set-up. Which works for you? Thanks, Bethan
- public_reply · Ruth Ackroyd 27 Apr 2026 12:50The real-time sync is what we need. But before we commit, we need to understand the implementation effort and cost. Who do we need to talk to, and what's the timeline?
- public_reply · Ruth Ackroyd 29 Apr 2026 09:02We're planning Q3 now. If this can be done within a month, we'll prioritise it. If longer, we'll find another way. Can you give me a realistic date?
