What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Neil Entwistle reported that duplicate records appeared after a refresh; the same accounts were showing up twice with identical data. Bethan Lister found the cause (refresh ran twice) and removed the duplicates.
Problem: Data quality issue where records were indexed twice, creating confusion in search results. Handling: Bethan located the root cause in the logs: the refresh process ran twice when the customer updated their call recorder system. She removed the duplicates. Watch: First response took 540 minutes. Root cause was system-change-triggered double execution, not a BB-Demo bug.

- public_reply · Bethan Lister 6 Nov 2024 02:21Thanks, Neil. Just so I've got this right, you're seeing the same record indexed twice after the refresh? I can see that in the logs. Let me dig into what caused this.
- public_reply · Neil Entwistle 8 Nov 2024 09:19Yes, exactly. They come up when I search. Same record, same ID. Should we have a deduplication step?
- internal_note · Bethan Lister 8 Nov 2024 14:03Found the cause, refresh ran twice when the customer updated their system. Removing duplicates now.
