Current to 11 Oct 26Customer identified duplicate customer records from a legacy system in the Sainsbury account that were degrading search quality. Olivia offered to run deduplication and re-sync.
Problem: Duplicate customer contacts from a previous system are cluttering the Sainsbury retailer account and making searches less useful. Handling: Olivia offered a practical solution - run deduplication on BB-Demo's side and re-sync, rather than requiring the customer to clean their CRM first. This reduces friction and demonstrates proactive support. Watch: This is a minor data quality issue but shows the customer cares about data cleanliness. The deduplication offers an opportunity to discuss ongoing data governance.

It's not breaking anything, but it's making searches messier than they should be. Can we run a deduplication on our side, or would it be better to clean it first in our CRM and then re-sync?
- public_reply · Olivia Grant 7 Apr 2026 17:22Hi Gemma, I'll sort that for you. I can run a deduplication on the account records and re-sync to give you clean data. Give me a few days and I'll have it cleaned up and let you know when it's done. Cheers, Olivia
