How do I set up a dashboard with a location filter?

Hi, I'm trying to set up a dashboard for our Trafford Park depot team so they can see just their own accounts without filtering manually each time. Is it me or can't you save a default filter on a dashboard itself? I've had a look in the dashboard builder but I'm not seeing the option. I can do it on a page search, so I'm wondering if it's possible on dashboards too. I've attached a screenshot of what I'm trying to build. The depot location is a custom field in our accounts, so I'd ideally like to filter by that. Thanks, Aisha

Just to add – if it's not possible to set one dashboard up with a locked filter, would I be better off building separate dashboards for each depot? That might work for us too. Cheers, Aisha

Hi Aisha, Just so I've got this right – you want one dashboard that shows only Trafford Park accounts so the team don't have to filter manually? You can do this. In the dashboard editor, open your component and look for the filter icon at the top right. You can bind any field in your data to a dashboard filter – so bind the location field and set it to show Trafford Park only. Once you save, that filter is locked in for anyone who opens it. You can also build the same dashboard multiple times for each depot if that works better for your workflow. Can you try that and let me know how it goes? Thanks, Bethan
