Current to 10 Oct 26Dean Hargreaves reported duplicate customer records appearing in account view. Bethan Lister identified a CRM connector stuck in a retry loop creating duplicates on each sync cycle and reset the connector with re-indexing.
Problem: the CRM connector was stuck in a retry loop, creating duplicate records on each sync cycle, making it impossible for Dean to track at-risk clients reliably. Handling: Bethan reset the connector and re-indexed all data from scratch. The duplicates were cleared by 26 Jun 2025 evening. Watch: this represents a data quality defect in the sync logic that, if repeated, could erode confidence in search results and drive support volume.

- public_reply · Dean Hargreaves 26 Jun 2025 10:47Still happening. Worse since lunchtime - the same accounts are duplicating multiple times now.
- internal_note · Bethan Lister 26 Jun 2025 13:51Checked the CRM connector logs. It's stuck in a retry loop - every failed sync generates duplicate records. Need to reset the connector and re-index from scratch.
- created · Dean Hargreaves 26 Jun 2025 16:01It's gone odd with the customer records again. Some of the retail accounts are showing up twice and the data's not looking current from the system. I can't rely on my account view to check which contracts might be at risk anymore. I'm seeing duplicate customer entries appearing across different views. Started noticing this morning. Can someone have a look at what's happening with the data sync? It's affecting my ability to track at-risk clients.
- public_reply · Bethan Lister 26 Jun 2025 19:29Found the issue - CRM connector was stuck in a retry loop, creating duplicate records on each sync cycle. I've reset the connector and re-indexed your data. The duplicates should be cleared now. Have a look and let me know if you see any other issues.
