What this says
Current to 14 Oct 26After the demo, Josh Pearce says orders sit in a supplier-run warehouse system and returns in the helpdesk. The supplier can give a read-only extract if asked in writing. Proposal held at £56k, decision target 21 Mar 2025.
Ask: Lewis asked which systems hold orders and returns and who administers them, so Hannah Lowe could write a connector plan.
Customer view: Josh is cooperative but the warehouse system is controlled by a supplier. The helpdesk he can set up himself.
Next: Hannah is to send a short note of the fields wanted so Thackwray can request the extract in writing. Lewis is to send the written proposal.

- Lewis Kerr 22 Jan 2025 16:36Dear Kelly, Josh, Thank you for your time at the demo. Hannah has copied in so she can pick up the technical points directly. Two things from the session. First, you asked how the brain would reach the order and returns data, and whether that would need changes on your side. Second, Kelly wanted to know how long it would take to have a brand view live. Josh, could you let us know which systems hold the orders and the returns tickets, and who administers them? Hannah can then put the connector plan in writing. Kind regards, Lewis
- Josh Pearce 27 Jan 2025 11:26Hi Lewis, Sorry for the delay, it's been a busy week here. Orders come out of our warehouse system, and returns tickets are in the helpdesk. I administer the helpdesk. The warehouse system is looked after by a supplier, so I'd have to go through them for any access. I'm not sure yet whether we can give you read access without a change request. I'll find out and come back to you. Josh
- Lewis Kerr 27 Jan 2025 12:58Josh, thank you, that's helpful. Hannah will write up what we would need from the supplier so you can pass it on as a single request, rather than a string of questions. To be clear on timing, nothing is committed on our side until the proposal is agreed, so there is no rush for the supplier. The current target for a decision remains 21 Mar 2025. Kelly, I've kept the proposal at £56,000 as discussed, including the one-off implementation fee. I'll send the written version over today. Kind regards, Lewis
- Josh Pearce 28 Jan 2025 17:46Lewis, I've had a word with the supplier. They can provide a read-only extract of the orders data on a schedule, which is simpler than direct access for them. It would need a request from us in writing, so a short note from Hannah on what fields you'd want would help. The helpdesk side is fine, I can set that up myself. Josh
