As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Joint administrator Alistair Penrose asked BG-Demo to keep the service running to 22 Aug 2026 and said the administration adopts no contract beyond it. Priya Raman confirmed access and passed the pre-appointment debt to Bridget Kearsley.
Ask: Mr Penrose wants the service available to the end of the current term on 22 Aug 2026 so the administrators can collect the debtor book. He states the administration does not adopt any contract beyond that term.
Customer view: Amounts due before appointment are a debt of the company to be claimed in the administration. He asks that all correspondence comes to him.
Next: Priya confirmed access for the 40 licensed users and handed the statement of claim to Bridget. She asked who at the administration is the day-to-day contact; the thread shows no answer.

- Alistair Penrose 15 Jul 2026 17:02Dear Ms Raman, In my capacity as joint administrator of Ashwell Mercer Interiors, Kelland Brooke Restructuring, I write to you as a supplier of the company. I was appointed earlier this week. The administration wishes the company's use of the BG-Demo service to continue until the end of the current term on 22 Aug 2026. The administrators need continued access to the company's project, commercial and credit-control records in order to collect the debtor book, and the service is how those records are brought together. I would be grateful if you would confirm that the service will remain available to the company's users until that date. For the avoidance of doubt, I act as agent of the company and without personal liability. Any amount that fell due before the date of appointment is a debt of the company and must be claimed in the administration. Please submit a statement of claim for any such amount, with the supporting invoices, and it will be dealt with in the ordinary course of the process. The administration does not adopt any contract beyond the current term. Please direct all correspondence on this matter to me. Alistair Penrose, Joint Administrator
- Priya Raman 16 Jul 2026 09:47Dear Mr Penrose, Thank you for your note, and for setting out the position so clearly. I can confirm that the service will stay available to Ashwell Mercer Interiors to the end of the current term on 22 Aug 2026, so your team can keep working with the company's records and collecting the debtor book. The subscription covers 40 licensed users, and nothing changes on our side to keep it running. Happy to make this easy: if you need user access adjusted for the administrators' own staff, tell me who and I will get it sorted quickly. On the pre-appointment debt, I have copied Bridget Kearsley, our Chief Financial Officer. She will prepare the statement of claim, with the invoice and its supporting detail, and send it to you directly. Please treat Bridget as the contact for anything relating to what is owed. > On 15 Jul 2026, at 17:02, Alistair Penrose wrote: > The administration wishes the company's use of the BG-Demo service to continue until the end of the current term on 22 Aug 2026. One small ask from me: could you let us know who at the administration should be our day-to-day contact for the service as the term end approaches? That will help us keep everything tidy for you. Best, Priya
