What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Finance Director Valerie Okon agreed to a Thursday 15:00 renewal call but wants the proposal in writing first, and keeps the outstanding invoice separate with credit control. Renewal is due 22 Aug 2025.
Ask: Marcus Bell asked Valerie Okon for half an hour to review the year and the next term. She accepted Thursday at 15:00 on condition that she sees the renewal proposal in writing beforehand.
Customer view: she separates the renewal from the unpaid invoice, which she says is a matter for credit control. She is the person who signed the contract, so she is the buyer.
Next: Marcus owes a short note on renewal terms and usage, and Priya Raman will handle pricing questions.

- Marcus Bell 14 Jul 2025 16:15Hi Valerie, I'm writing as your contract with us comes up for renewal on 22 Aug 2025. I would like to find half an hour with you to talk through how the year has gone, what you have got out of the brain and what you would want from the next term. Craig and Sunil have both been involved in the recent review, so I have a good picture of usage. What I don't have is your view, as the person who signed the contract. Would later this week or early next week suit you? Happy to work around your diary. Thanks, Marcus
- Valerie Okon 15 Jul 2025 16:12Marcus, Thank you for your note. I can do Thursday at 15:00. I would like to know beforehand what you are proposing for the renewal, so please send me anything in writing first. Anything on payment of the outstanding invoice is a matter for our credit control team, and I will ask them about it separately. Valerie Okon
- Marcus Bell 15 Jul 2025 17:27Hi Valerie, Thursday at 15:00 is fine, thank you. I'll send an invite shortly. I'll get you a short note ahead of then covering the renewal terms and what you have used over the year. Pricing questions I will hand to Priya, so she will be in touch directly if that is useful to you. Understood on the invoice. I will keep that with your finance team and Rachel on our side. Thanks, Marcus
