What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026After the QBR, Sunil Kapoor said daily users are mostly the commercial team and himself, and two project figures did not tie to the ledger. He wants a clear ticket status before renewal talks.
Ask: Marcus asked which teams should be using the brain and which client projects to build examples around. Sunil answered that project managers and credit controllers log in rarely.
Customer view: trust is the barrier until the figures are reconciled. The open ticket is the connector feeding the finance system, and Sunil doubts all 40 seats are needed.
Next: Sunil will send the project codes; Marcus owes a ticket status.

- Marcus Bell 7 Jul 2025 14:47Hi Craig, Sunil, Thanks for making time for the QBR earlier. I've pulled the numbers again since the call and wanted to put the main points in writing so we all have the same list. - Licensed users: you have 40 seats on Growth, but only around six people are logging in on a typical day. That is steady rather than falling, but it is a small share of what you have paid for. - The ticket you raised recently is still open on our side. I'll keep chasing it internally, though I can't give you a fix date. - You mentioned on the call that the project and credit teams aren't asking the brain much yet. I'd like to understand why, and whether it is a training gap or something about how the questions are set up. Your contract runs to 22 Aug 2025, so it would be good to agree what a useful next few weeks look like before we get into the renewal conversation. Sunil, could you tell me which teams you think should be using it but aren't? Craig, if there are client projects you'd like to see in the brain first, name them and I'll build the examples around those. Happy to jump on a call if that's easier than email. Shall we book half an hour next week? Thanks, Marcus
- Sunil Kapoor 7 Jul 2025 16:22Marcus, Thanks for the summary. A few points from my side, so we don't overstate anything. - On usage: the six or so daily users are mostly the commercial team and me. Project managers and the credit controllers log in rarely. I'd rather say that plainly than guess at the reasons. - Part of it is trust. Last month two project figures didn't tie to the ledger, and until I've reconciled them I'm not comfortable telling the project teams to rely on the answers. I'll reconcile it and send you the project codes involved. - The open ticket is the connector that feeds the finance system. Which project code is affected is in the ticket. I'd like a clear status on it before we talk about the renewal. I don't think the 40 seats are all needed today. But I can't say that with confidence until the numbers match. Craig, shout if I've misrepresented where the project teams are. Sunil
