Callie Brennan presses for credentials and a named contact. Sunil Kapoor names himself, confirms Thursday, and deliberately holds back wider user invites until the client list ties to the ledger.

Ask: Callie needs written credentials for the commercial and finance systems, a named person for project code questions and two working sessions. She wants the lead users in before onboarding ends.

Customer view: Sunil says he held back invites on purpose, as people would lose confidence if the first answer did not tie to the ledger. Callie agrees.

Next: Thursday session, with Callie proposing to fix a date for the first wider invite then.

Hi Sunil, Thanks for making time on the last call. I want to get the onboarding schedule pinned down before we switch on the refresh for the remaining sources, because at the moment we are drifting a little. Where we are: - Project system: connected, and the fields map cleanly. - Commercial system: waiting on access. - Finance system: waiting on access. What I need from your side is: - Written credentials for the commercial and finance systems. I won't start a connector without them in writing. - One named person who can answer project code questions when I get to the client list. - Two working sessions of about an hour each next week. I can do Tuesday or Thursday. One other thing, and I'd rather say it now than later. Only a couple of people have logged in so far, against 40 licensed users. That is normal this early, but I would like the project, commercial and credit-control leads using it before the end of onboarding, not after, so that the first refresh gets looked at by the people who will rely on it. Could you let me know which day works and who the named person should be? Thanks, Callie

Callie, Thanks for this. Replies in order: - Credentials: I have asked our finance team for the finance system access and I'm waiting on them. The commercial system I can sort myself. I'll send both in writing once I have them, not before. - Named person: that will be me for now. Which project code format do you want to work from? We have the old and the current one running side by side, and the client list doesn't tie to the ledger yet. I'll reconcile it, but I'd rather do that before you map anything. - Sessions: Tuesday is no good. Thursday works. - Users: I have held back inviting the wider team deliberately. I'd rather not send people into a brain that doesn't tie to the ledger, as they will lose confidence on the first question. I know that is the other side of your concern. Hi Sunil, That's helpful, and I agree with holding the invites until the client list is straight. Thursday it is. What I'll do before then: - Send you a short list of the fields where the project codes and the client list need to agree, so you can reconcile against the ledger in one pass. - Hold the finance and commercial connectors until your credentials arrive in writing. - Write up a setup note after Thursday so you have the mapping decisions in one place. Once the client list ties, let's agree a date for the first wider invite, so the users get switched on while the project is still in onboarding. I'd suggest we fix that date on Thursday rather than leave it open. Thanks, Callie
