As at Fri 9 Oct 2026After the 17 Jun 2024 demo, Sunil Kapoor raised three data questions on project codes, duplicated clients and variations. Priya Raman passed them to Hannah Lowe, and Sunil will send a small extract with a caveat.
Ask: Priya's recap named a Growth proposal as next step and aimed to finish by 9 Aug 2024. Sunil asked which project code is master, how duplicated clients are joined, and where variations come from.
Customer view: he will not trust any client view until the join is shown on his data. He warns his sample covers only cases found so far, so a pass is a good sign, not proof.
Next: Sunil sends systems, mismatched projects and known duplicates. Hannah answers in writing.

- Priya Raman 17 Jun 2024 17:14Hi Craig, hi Sunil, Thanks for your time today. Good to see the brain running on your own project and commercial data rather than a slide deck. A quick recap to keep momentum: - You saw a client view with projects, variations, calls and invoices side by side. - Sunil raised how the project and finance systems would be connected, and whether the client list would stay as one list. - We agreed the next step is a proposal for Growth, so your project, commercial and credit-control teams work from the same picture. Hannah is copied and can go into the connector design in as much detail as Sunil likes. Sunil, if you can send her the names of the systems you want connected, she can tell you exactly what would be live and when. Happy to make this easy: if we can get this over the line by 9 Aug 2024, we can plan the start of implementation properly. Best, Priya
- Sunil Kapoor 17 Jun 2024 18:04Priya, Thanks for the recap. Three points from my side before we go further: - Project codes: the project system and the finance system do not always use the same code for the same job. Which project code does the brain treat as the master? If it picks the wrong one, a report will not tie to the ledger. - Client list: we have some clients held twice, once in the commercial system and once under a parent company in the project system. I would want to know how the brain joins them before I trust any client view. - Variations: Craig will want these visible per project. I need to know if they come from the project system or the commercial one. I will reconcile our side if you tell me what format you need. I just want to be sure I am not building something the brain already answers. Sunil
- Priya Raman 17 Jun 2024 18:57Sunil, Craig, Thanks, those are the right questions and I would rather we settle them now. I am not going to guess at product internals, so I have asked Hannah to answer each one in writing. Hannah, over to you. In short, we need three things from you, Sunil: a list of the systems to connect, a short extract showing a few projects where the codes differ, and the clients you know are duplicated. With those, Hannah can show you on your own data how the join would work, not just describe it. Craig, nothing needed from you beyond a view on which clients matter most, so we start the demo with those. Best, Priya
- Sunil Kapoor 18 Jun 2024 08:19Priya, Understood. I will send Hannah the extract this week: the systems, a handful of projects with mismatched codes and the duplicated clients I know about. I will keep it small so the answer is easy to check. One caveat so nobody over-reads it: the sample will only show the cases I have found so far, not every mismatch in the data. If the join works on those, that is a good sign, not proof. Sunil
