What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Ian Prendergast has not signed the £22k Starter renewal order form and the 22 Sep 2026 date has passed. He pays £42k a year on Growth with forty users and wants a side-by-side of what moving down would lose.
Ask: Sophie Ling sent a Starter renewal order form for £22k and asked for signature by 22 Sep 2026. The thread does not show why Starter rather than Growth was put forward.
Customer view: Ian reads it as a downgrade he did not ask for. He wants to know what the figure covers and what users, connectors and service levels he would lose.
Next: Sophie needs to send a side-by-side with the Growth terms in pounds and in capability. Ian says he will take a view at renewal, and the current contract runs to 1 Dec 2026.

- Sophie Ling 18 Sep 2026 08:11Dear Ian, Following the recent conversations with Amara, I have attached the renewal order form for Carnmoor on the Starter tier for your signature. The order form shows a total value of £22,000. Your current contract runs to 1 Dec 2026, so there is time, but I would like to have this signed by 22 Sep 2026 so that the paperwork is settled well ahead of the end date. If anything in the order form needs changing, or you would like to talk it through first, tell me and I will make time. Otherwise, please sign and return it to me. Kind regards, Sophie Ling Account Executive, BB-Demo
- Ian Prendergast 23 Sep 2026 08:13Sophie, I have not signed this, and I am sorry to say that the date you gave, 22 Sep 2026, has already passed. Before I sign anything, I need to understand the basis. We currently pay £41,800 a year on the Growth tier with forty licensed users. You have sent me a Starter order form with a total of £22,000. It does not say whether that figure includes any one-off element, so please tell me exactly what it covers and over what period. I also need to know what we lose by moving down: which users, which connectors and which service levels. Starter's included users are well below the forty we hold today. Show me the difference in pounds and in what we would be able to do, side by side, with the Growth terms alongside. We will take a view at renewal, once I have that in front of me. I am not renewing anything on autopilot. Ian Prendergast
