Current to 13 Oct 26Amara Obi sent the formal Growth renewal notice and flagged that the CRM renewal record shows a Starter deal at £22k. Ian Prendergast works from the £42k order form, wants the Starter figure kept narrow and will not agree a price on a call.
Ask: Amara gave notice that the Growth subscription ends on 1 Dec 2026 and disclosed that the CRM shows a Starter deal that does not match the contract. She asked who else should join the conversation.
Customer view: Ian appreciates the openness but sets his own base at £42k for 40 users. He wants the quote first, with the pound change and term changes, and will not agree a price on a call.
Next: Sophie Ling corrects the record and sends the quote. Kofi Asamoah is expected to speak to whether the customer needs every connector, which is a scope question.

- Amara Obi 4 Aug 2026 17:19Hi Ian, This is your formal renewal notice for Carnmoor's Growth subscription, which ends on 1 Dec 2026. I'm your customer success manager and I own the renewal conversation, with Sophie on the commercial terms. One thing I want to flag before it confuses anyone. The renewal record in our system currently shows a Starter deal worth £22,000, with an expected close of 22 Sep 2026. That does not match your Growth contract, which is what we are renewing, so please don't read it as a proposal. I've asked Sophie to correct it and she'll confirm the proper figures in the written renewal quote. What I can say now is that the picture from the QBR was steady: 40 licensed users, a small rise in active use on the previous quarter, two tickets and nothing overdue on invoices. I'd like to use that as the basis for the renewal discussion. Who else should be in the conversation, besides you and Gemma? I'm happy to set up a short call whenever suits. Best, Amara
- Ian Prendergast 4 Aug 2026 20:00Amara, Thank you for the notice and for being open about the record. My own papers show a Growth order form at £41,800 for 40 users, and that is the base I shall be working from. Please do not let the Starter figure go any further than the two of us and Sophie. I will wait for the written quote from Sophie. I would like it to show the proposed price, the change in pounds against £41,800, and what changes in the terms. I will not agree a price on a call, so a call is of use to me only once I have read it. On the people: Gemma and Kofi should join once I have the numbers. Kofi in particular can speak to what the brain is connected to and whether we need all of it. We will take a view at renewal. Ian Prendergast
