After the 28 Jul 2026 QBR, Amara sent usage figures: 40 licensed users, about nine active on a typical day. Ian Prendergast, Finance Director, wants the cost per active user in pounds before renewal and will take a view nearer the time.

Ask: Amara Obi set out the QBR numbers and asked Gemma Thorne for the people and teams who should be using the brain but are not. Kofi Asamoah was asked to confirm last night's loads completed for every connected source.

Customer view: Ian Prendergast does not call the gap a problem in itself, but wants the cost per active user in pounds, with the base shown, before renewal. He wants terms sent to him directly, with Gemma copied.

Next: the usage summary must carry that per-user cost. The contract runs to 1 Dec 2026, so the value case is needed well before then.

Hi all, Thanks for your time on the call today. As promised, here's what the numbers say, so you have them in writing. - Licensed users: 40 - Active users on a typical day: around nine, up a little on the previous quarter - Tickets in the last month: two, neither high priority - Invoices: nothing overdue The picture is steady and slightly improving, which is good. The gap between 40 licensed users and the number actually logging in is the thing I'd like us to look at. Gemma, who else should have access? You mentioned the corporate account managers and the remarketing team earlier, and I'd like to see whether they are using the brain the way the service desk is. Actions as I have them: - Gemma: a short list of people and teams who should be using the brain but are not yet - Kofi: confirm that last night's loads completed for every connected source, and tell me if any source looks stale - Me: send a one-page usage summary you can reuse internally - Ian: the contract runs to 1 Dec 2026, so I'll bring you a renewal view well before then Let's get the next QBR in the diary before the renewal conversation, so nobody is surprised. Best, Amara

Amara, Thank you for the summary. It is useful to have it written down. One point of substance. We pay for 40 users and, on your own figures, about nine of them are active on a typical day. I am not saying that is a problem in itself, since not everyone needs the brain daily, but I will want to understand what that costs us per active user before we get to renewal. Please include that in the usage summary, in pounds, with the base shown. On the renewal: we will take a view nearer the time. I would rather see the numbers and the proposed terms in good time than be asked for a decision at short notice. Please send them to me directly, with Gemma copied. Gemma and Kofi, I have left you on copy so the list of additional users and the load check come back to Amara without my involvement. Ian Prendergast
