What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26After the QBR, Finance Director Ian Prendergast confirmed £42k as the annual subscription and asked for a renewal breakdown showing base, proposed figure and uplift in pounds. He agreed nothing and will decide at renewal.
Ask: Ian wants the renewal breakdown early, with the base, the proposed figure and the uplift in pounds, not only a percentage. A percentage without the base is not something he can take to the board.
Customer view: He is not agreeing anything now. The view at renewal depends on what Gemma's teams get from the brain, and he calls her account positive so far.
Next: Amara Obi owes the usage summary by team and the breakdown well ahead of the term end on 1 Dec 2026. The evidence does not show a date for sending it.

- Amara Obi 27 Apr 2026 09:03Hi all, Thanks for your time at the QBR. A short summary so we all have the same record. Here's what the numbers say: usage is well up on the previous quarter, with more teams asking questions and the account managers the heaviest users. There were no tickets in the last month, and Kofi confirmed the nightly loads have been completing. Actions: - Gemma: bring the service desk team leaders in for a short walkthrough, so they see the same fleet and query picture as the account managers. - Gemma and Kofi: agree which remarketing colleagues should have access. You have 40 licensed users, so there's room. - Kofi: let me know if any new sources are planned, so I can check we've got capacity on connectors before you need them. - Amara: send the usage summary by team, and a view of what the contract looks like through to the end of the term on 1 Dec 2026. Ian, you asked what the position will be at renewal. I don't want to give you a number on the back of an email, so I'll bring a proper breakdown with the base shown, in pounds, well ahead of the term end. Your annual subscription is £41,800 as contracted, and that's the starting point. Let's get the next QBR in the diary once the actions above are done. I'll suggest dates. Best, Amara
- Ian Prendergast 30 Apr 2026 12:54Amara, Thank you for the summary. It matches my notes. On the commercial point, I confirm that £41,800 is the annual subscription under the order form, running to 1 Dec 2026. I'd be grateful if the renewal breakdown you mention could show the base, the proposed figure and the uplift in pounds, not only as a percentage. A percentage without the base isn't something I can take to the board. To be clear, I'm not agreeing anything now. We'll take a view at renewal, and that view will depend on what Gemma's teams are getting from it by then. Her account has been positive so far, and the usage supports that. Please send the breakdown with enough notice for me to go through it properly. I would rather see it early than be asked to decide late. Ian Prendergast
