As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Sophie Ling asked Ian Prendergast for a 45-minute call on the Growth commercial terms. Ian replied five days later offering Thursday at 15:00 or Friday at 10:00, and said he will not agree prices on calls.
Ask: Sophie wrote on 22 Oct 2025 and Ian replied on 27 Oct 2025, citing month-end preparation. He prefers Thursday so he can read the order form first and wants Gemma Thorne included.
Customer view: He is willing to meet but sets terms: any number must come in writing with its base, and he will respond in writing.
Next: Sophie should send the figures and order form ahead and confirm the Thursday slot.

- Sophie Ling 22 Oct 2025 08:35Hi Ian, I would like to get a conversation in the diary to go through the commercial terms for the Growth proposal. The aim would be to cover the lines you asked about earlier, the implementation and the subscription, and anything in the order form that you would like changed. It should take about forty-five minutes. Would later this week or early next week suit you? If you would prefer Gemma to join, that is fine by me, and I can include her. Equally, if you would rather see anything in writing first, say so and I will send it ahead. I do not want to rush you, but a date would help me plan our side. Kind regards, Sophie Account Executive, BG-Demo
- Ian Prendergast 27 Oct 2025 12:53Sophie, Apologies for the delay. Month-end preparation has taken most of my week. I can do Thursday at 15:00 or Friday at 10:00. Either would suit, but I would prefer Thursday because it gives me time to read the order form first. Please do include Gemma: she should hear any change to scope directly rather than from me afterwards. To set expectations, I will be listening and asking questions. I do not agree prices on calls. If there is a number you would like me to consider, send it in writing beforehand with its base and I will respond in writing. Ian Prendergast
