Ian Prendergast, Finance Director, wants the £54k split into one-off and recurring lines and will not accept a percentage without its base. He asked for cost per vehicle workings and agreed nothing on price.

Ask: Ian wants two lines, one-off and recurring each year, plus the working to calculate a per-vehicle cost across the whole fleet. Gemma Thorne wants the service desk involved before configuration.

Customer view: Ian is guarded and states he is not in a position to agree anything on price. Sophie's 8 Oct 2025 reply gave the split in words and no separate figures, so the evidence does not show the two amounts.

Next: Sophie needs Ian's chosen fleet base figure and a service desk session before configuration.

Hi Gemma, hi Ian, Thanks for your time this morning. As promised, here is a short recap of where we landed and the proposal as it stands. What we are proposing is the Growth tier, so that your corporate account managers, the driver service desk and remarketing can see each client's fleet, queries and invoices in one place, inside your own Snowflake account. The total value of the deal as proposed is £53,800. To be clear, that is the total deal value and not an annual subscription price: it includes the one-off implementation as well as the subscription. I will send you the split between the two in a separate note so Ian can see each line on its own. Two things I took away from the call: - Gemma would like the service desk involved before anything is configured, so we agree which sources matter first. - Ian would like the cost set out in a way he can explain to his board. If I have missed anything, shout. Otherwise my next step is to get the breakdown across to you both early next week. Kind regards, Sophie Account Executive, BG-Demo

Sophie, Thank you for the recap. One point of precision: you describe £53,800 as the total. I would like to see it as two lines, what is one-off and what recurs each year, with the base for any percentage you quote. I do not accept a percentage without its base. I would also like to know what it costs per vehicle once it is running across the whole fleet. I appreciate that is not a number you can give me today, but I would like the working so I can do the sum myself. We will take a view on the terms once I have seen the lines. I am not in a position to agree anything on price at this stage. Ian Prendergast

Hi Ian, hi Gemma, Apologies, this took a little longer than I said. Ian, the breakdown you asked for is below in words, and I will put it on a single page if that is easier to forward. - The £53,800 is the whole proposal: first-year subscription plus the one-off implementation fee, which is fixed. - The subscription is the part that recurs each year and would be renewed, and you would be able to see it as its own line at renewal. - I have not quoted any percentage, so there is no base to argue about at this point. On cost per vehicle, I will not guess. If you can tell me which fleet figure you want to use as the base, I will lay the sum out so you can check it. Gemma, I have pencilled in a short session with your service desk lead before any configuration. Tell me who you would like in the room. Our current plan is to have the proposal settled by 18 Nov 2025, but that is a target, not a deadline I want to push you to. Kind regards, Sophie
