Current to 11 Oct 26Calum Sneddon reported the Salesforce connector stopped syncing. After a credential refresh he got a 'permission denied' error. Bethan Lister suspects the API user lost a role and asked for the Salesforce admin to check.
Ask: Bethan asked Calum to refresh the credential, then to have the Salesforce admin check the connector user's permissions.
Customer view: Calum said nothing was changed on the Salesforce side that they know of. No reply to the last message appears in the thread.
Next: Await the admin check. Records have been missing for more than a week, so freshness is at risk.

- Bethan Lister 16 Aug 2024 12:01Hi Calum, Thanks for reaching out. Just so I've got this right, you're seeing the Salesforce connector stop syncing records about a week ago? Can you try refreshing the credential in the admin panel and let me know what error message you see? Thanks, Bethan
- Calum Sneddon 19 Aug 2024 14:37Hi Bethan, We refreshed it and now we're getting a 'permission denied' error. We haven't changed anything on the Salesforce side that we know of. Calum
- Bethan Lister 22 Aug 2024 08:07Thanks Calum. That sounds like the API user lost a role. Can you ask your Salesforce admin to check the connectors user still has the required permissions? I'll be here once you've checked that. Bethan
