Current to 11 Oct 26Tom Ashdown sends the Starter order form for signature. Finance Director Hamish Crawford does not sign and asks who will use it and how he can show the board what it delivers. Tom drops the Friday target.
Ask: Hamish wants to see who is using the product once live, so he can show the board what the company gets for the money. He would rather get it right than sign by Friday.
Customer view: This is a value question, not a price objection. Tom promises usage visibility and check-ins with Daniel Okafor, and says he will confirm the split of the £24k with finance.
Next: The thread ends with the form unsigned. The evidence does not show a later signature in this thread.

- Tom Ashdown 24 Jan 2024 17:49Hi Hamish, Thanks for taking the time to go through this with us. The order form is attached for signature: Starter, for your scheme relationship managers. The total value on the form is £23,550. That includes the one-off implementation fee, so please don't read it as the annual subscription figure. If anything on the form looks different from what we discussed, tell me and I'll sort it. I'd like to get it signed by Friday 26 Jan 2024 so we can book the kickoff, but if you need to run it past anyone internally first, that's fine. Best, Tom
- Hamish Crawford 25 Jan 2024 14:39Tom, Thank you for sending this over. Before I sign, one question: who is actually using it once it is live, and how would I see that? I need to be able to show the board what we are getting for the money. Let's not rush. I would rather get this right than get it signed by Friday. Hamish Crawford
- Tom Ashdown 25 Jan 2024 15:36Hi Hamish, No drama, that's a fair thing to ask. Once you're live you can see who is asking questions and how often, and it's easy to pull that together for the board. Daniel Okafor, our customer success manager, will go through it with your team at the check-ins so you're not left to work it out alone. On Friday: treat that as a target, not a deadline. Take the time you need. I'll confirm the exact split of the total on the form with our finance team and come back to you. Leave that with me. Cheers, Tom
