What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26After the Growth tier proposal, Matthias Ebner, Chief Operating Officer, said he would not go to information security and procurement without written answers on governance, exit and the BaFin outsourcing register.
Ask: Priya Raman's 3 Oct 2025 email set out the Growth tier, a deal valued at £62k in total and an expected close of 20 Jan 2026. Matthias replied on 7 Oct 2025 with three written conditions.
Customer view: he is the gatekeeper and has made written answers a precondition. Priya committed to accurate written responses, not quick replies.
Next: the £62k is the deal value in that email, an open item, not contracted revenue.

- Priya Raman 3 Oct 2025 16:59Dear Katrin, dear Matthias, Thank you both for the time earlier this week. Here is where we stand, so everyone has the same picture. What we heard: merchant account managers and merchant risk each work from their own view of a merchant, and you would like one shared view, with the data kept in an EU region. What we propose: the Growth tier, built inside your own Snowflake account, with a fixed-fee implementation. The deal as it stands is valued at £62,000 in total. We are working to an expected close of 20 Jan 2026, which leaves plenty of room for your information security and procurement steps. If we can get the security questions answered early, we can keep momentum. Next step from my side is a short written summary of the architecture and data residency for your review. Best, Priya
- Matthias Ebner 7 Oct 2025 16:48Dear Ms Raman, Thank you for the summary. Before we go further I need three points in writing. First, how is this governed: who at your company can access our data, and under what controls. Second, what is the exit plan if we end the arrangement, and in what form we would receive our data. Third, what you can provide for our outsourcing register, which BaFin reviews. I will not take this to information security and procurement without those answers. Katrin will coordinate the details on our side. - Priya Raman 7 Oct 2025 18:24Dear Matthias, hi Katrin, Understood, and thank you for being so clear. I will not answer these from memory: I want each point to be accurate and in writing, as you asked. On governance and exit, I will check the detail with our technical team and send you a written response rather than a quick reply. On the outsourcing register, I will tell you what documentation we can supply and what we cannot, so there are no surprises later. Katrin, if it helps, I can set up a short call with you to go through the questions before the written answer goes to Matthias. Best, Priya
