Deepa Chauhan agreed to a quarterly business review with Malcolm Ridgway and Tariq Saleem. She asked for a money-and-value focus with the base shown for every percentage.

Ask: Daniel proposed a review covering questions asked, connector behaviour and what the money buys. Deepa agreed and wants a section on credit-control and key-account use of the account view.

Customer view: Malcolm, the Chief Financial Officer, wants to see where each number comes from and what it is measured against.

Next: Deepa will confirm a slot and asked Daniel not to send an invitation until she does.

Hello Deepa, Just to close the loop on our last conversation: you asked me to look at a proper review for the leadership side, so I'd like to set up the quarterly business review. As Enterprise is company-wide, I think the review is most useful if it covers three things: what the teams are asking the brain and who is asking, how the connectors have behaved, and what we can show for the money. That last part is why I'd like Malcolm there, if he is willing. I know he doesn't take meetings about features, so I'd keep it to the commercial picture, with the usage figures set against the licensed seats and the contract. I'd also like Tariq in the room for the connector part. He knows the load history better than any of us. Could you let me know who you'd want to invite and whether the week after next is realistic? I'll come back to you by Monday with a short agenda once I know who is coming. Best wishes, Daniel

Hi Daniel, Yes, let's do it. I'd like Malcolm and Tariq both there, and I'll put it to Malcolm myself so it doesn't arrive as a surprise from a supplier. You're right about Malcolm. Keep it to money and value. He will want to see where each number comes from and what it is measured against, so please bring the base for every percentage. I'd rather you over-prepare than he has to ask twice. For my own part I'd like a short section on how the credit-control and key-account teams are using the account view together. Let's get credit control in the room if we can, or at least have their view written down. The week after next should work. I'll check diaries tomorrow and confirm a slot. Please don't send an invitation until I do, as Malcolm's diary moves. Thanks, Deepa
