What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Deepa Chauhan agreed to a proposal walk-through, with a real trade account shown to branch, credit control and key-account views. She asked to keep CFO Malcolm Ridgway out of the first session.
Ask: Deepa wants one real trade account shown side by side to a branch manager, credit control and a key-account manager. She prefers a real account to a tidy example.
Customer view: she is keeping control of the buying process and will bring Malcolm in only once she knows what she is asking him to sign.
Next: Lewis Kerr agreed to a Tuesday 10:00 video call and asked for the account name by Monday.

- Lewis Kerr 31 Dec 2024 08:26Hi Deepa, Thank you for your time on the last call. I know the credit control and key-account questions were the ones that mattered most to you, and I have shaped the proposal around them. I'd like to walk you through it before it goes any further inside Merriott Lyle. Could we find forty minutes in the first week back after the New Year? If it helps, Malcolm can join for the commercial part, though I'll leave that to you. Tell me which days suit and I'll send an invite. I'll send that over today once I have a slot from you. Kind regards, Lewis
- Deepa Chauhan 3 Jan 2025 13:40Hi Lewis, Happy New Year, and sorry for the slow reply. Things restarted at a sprint here. The one thing I need from the session is to see how a single trade account looks to a branch manager, to credit control and to a key-account manager, side by side. Which account, which branch? I'd rather use a real one than a tidy example. Next week works for me, Tuesday or Wednesday, mornings best. I'd like to keep Malcolm out of the first walk-through and bring him in once I know what I'm asking him to sign. Is that all right with you? Thanks, Deepa
- Lewis Kerr 3 Jan 2025 15:23Hi Deepa, That's fine by me. We'll keep the first session to you and me, and I'll take the proposal through in the order you described. Let's say Tuesday at 10:00. I'll set it up on a video call and send the invite this afternoon. I'll ask for one trade account from you beforehand so I can load it in the way your teams would see it. If you can send me the account name by Monday, that's plenty of time. Once you've seen it, we can decide together when Malcolm should join. Kind regards, Lewis
