What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26After the discovery call Lewis Kerr proposed Enterprise and gave a working total of £146k excluding VAT, not an annual price. Deepa Chauhan will take it to her finance lead and wants the implementation specified.
Ask: Deepa wanted an indication of the overall figure before taking this further, and will not go to the regions until her finance lead has seen it. She also wants to show branches only what works.
Customer view: Constructive but cautious. She expects questions on what the implementation includes.
Next: Lewis is to send the security process note and the proposal splitting implementation from subscription. The 14 Feb 2025 paperwork target is a plan, not a commitment.

- Lewis Kerr 2 Dec 2024 17:46Hello Deepa, Thank you for your time today, and please pass on my thanks to the colleagues who joined. I found it very useful. My understanding of what you want: one view of each trade account that brings together orders, disputes, calls and invoices, so that branch managers, key-account managers and credit control are all working from the same picture. Enterprise looks like the right fit for a business of your size, mainly because of the number of teams involved and the security review your IT group will want to run. Next steps on my side: I'll draft an outline of scope and a proposed timetable, and I'd suggest we arrange a demonstration on your own data. Could you let me know who in IT should be involved in the security review, and whether credit control have a preferred day for the demo? Kind regards, Lewis
- Deepa Chauhan 3 Dec 2024 17:37Hi Lewis, Thanks for the recap, that matches what I took away. A few points back: - Security review: I'll nominate someone in IT and come back to you. They will want to see the process before they commit time. - Credit control prefer a morning, and not a Monday. - I would like to understand the cost properly before I take this any further internally. Can you give me an indication of the overall figure? I won't be going to the regions with anything until our finance lead has seen it. I'm also keen not to over-promise to the branches. Anything we tell them has to be something I can show them working. Thanks, Deepa
- Lewis Kerr 4 Dec 2024 14:13Deepa, Understood on all three. On the security review, Enterprise includes support for it as part of the implementation, so your IT colleague will have help with questionnaires and evidence rather than starting from scratch. I'll send a short description of the process today. On cost, I'd rather confirm figures in writing than from memory, but to give you a working number: the overall deal value we have pencilled in is £146,500, exclusive of VAT. Please read that as the total for the deal, not an annual price. The formal proposal will split out the one-off implementation from the annual subscription, and it will be co-termed to your renewal date once that is set. Our working target is to have paperwork agreed by 14 Feb 2025, though that is a plan rather than a commitment, and it depends on the security review and your finance lead. Kind regards, Lewis
- Deepa Chauhan 4 Dec 2024 15:50Hi Lewis, Thank you, that's clear, and helpful to see the split will be shown separately. I'll take the number to our finance lead and let you know how it lands. I'd expect questions about what is included in the implementation, so the proposal being specific on that will help. I'll send the IT name once I have it. Please send the security process note when you can. Thanks, Deepa
