Rajesh Mistry questions paying for idle seats on the £8,000 plus VAT add-on. Lewis Kerr concedes there is headroom within the 60 licences. Rajesh will proceed only if free seats do not cover the planners, signature by 30 Oct 2026.

Ask: Rajesh wants active users by team and cost per head before going further. He does not want to pay for idle seats.

Customer view: Rajesh calls Lewis's candid answer on headroom "Useful, and fair" and keeps the proposal open. The £8,000 plus VAT add-on is an open proposal, not signed.

Next: Gemma Holt confirms assigned and free seats this week, and Lewis sends the formal quote either way.

Hello Gemma, Rajesh, Thanks for your time on the call earlier. As promised, here is the proposal for the additional users for Rajesh's planners, so you have it in writing. To put a number on it: the add-on comes to £8,000 in total, plus VAT. It would sit under your existing Growth subscription and be co-termed to your renewal on 4 Jan 2027, so you would not have a second renewal date to track. Two things to confirm before I can firm it up: - which planners need access first, so I can size it properly - whether you want it live before the renewal conversation starts or alongside it I'll send that over today in a formal quote once you have confirmed the list. Happy to go through any of it on a short call. Kind regards, Lewis Lewis Kerr Account Executive, BB-Demo

Lewis, Thanks for this. Before I take it any further I need two things. First, usage. We already have 60 licensed users. Show me how many of those are active and who they are by team. I do not want to pay for seats that sit idle. Second, what's the cost per head on the add-on, once it is co-termed? Gemma is copied and can speak to which planners would get the most from it. Regards, Rajesh

Rajesh, Gemma, Apologies for the gap since Rajesh's note. I wanted the usage view checked against the account records rather than sent from memory. Here is the straight answer. Active use is well inside the 60 licensed users, so there is headroom today. That matters for this proposal. If your planners can be covered by seats that are currently unassigned, you do not need the add-on yet, and I would rather tell you that than sell you something the usage does not support. Gemma, could you confirm how many of the existing seats are assigned to named people and how many are free? If the free seats cover the planners, we park the add-on. If they do not, the £8,000 plus VAT proposal stands and stays co-termed to 4 Jan 2027. On cost per head: I'll put that in the formal quote so the arithmetic is visible rather than quoted in an email. Kind regards, Lewis

Lewis, Useful, and fair. That is what I wanted to hear. Gemma will confirm the seat position this week. If the free seats do not cover the planners, I am happy to proceed with the add-on, co-termed as you say. Please keep the proposal open and plan for signature by 30 Oct 2026. Send the formal quote with the cost per head either way. I will want it on file. Regards, Rajesh
