What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Craig Oduya, Director of Digital and Data, says the renewal is under review against an in-house platform build and asks for a written proposal, term and exit position. Amara Obi replies on 5 Jun 2026 with the Growth price context and an offer of an inventory.
Ask: Craig wants the proposal in writing, including term and exit position. He will not commit while the review runs.
Customer view: the renewal is weighed against building the capability in-house. He noticed the account has changed hands, which he reads as instability.
Next: Amara says Tom Ashdown will send the exact v2 Growth figure and order form wording. She also offers the configuration inventory and a call, and asks who else on the platform team should be included.

- Craig Oduya 3 Jun 2026 13:06Amara, I understand you now look after the Calderbrook account. I've had the renewal notice from Marcus this morning, so I assume the account has moved around again. To be clear about where we are: the renewal is being reviewed against the platform strategy, and we're building that capability in-house. I'd like to understand what BB-Demo is proposing, what the term looks like and what our exit position would be. Please send the proposal in writing. I'm not going to commit to anything while the review is in progress. Craig Oduya, Director of Digital and Data
- Amara Obi 5 Jun 2026 11:17Hi Craig, Thanks for your note, and fair point on the account moving around. I'm new to Calderbrook, so I'll tell you what I know and what I don't yet, rather than pretend I've been here all along. Here's what the numbers say and what's on the table: - Your Growth subscription is £44,000 a year with 40 licensed users, and the current term ends on 1 Sep 2026. - The renewal notice is at the v2 list price for Growth, which is higher than what you pay today. That is a standard step for customers who signed under the earlier price book. I've copied Tom, who owns the commercial side, and he'll send the exact figure and the order form wording in writing. - On usage, a small number of people are active day to day, and it is lower than last quarter. I'd rather we looked at that together than have you hear it second hand. On exit: the brain runs inside your own Snowflake account, so the data stays with you. Marcus has offered a short inventory of what's configured, and I'm happy to pick that up and make sure it's in your hands. Who else should have access to this conversation on your side? If your platform team is part of the review, I'd be glad to include them. Let's get a call in the diary. I'll send some options. Best, Amara
