What this says
Current to 10 Oct 26Douglas Baird, Chief Operating Officer, gave notice on 2 Feb 2026 that Lornefield will not renew when the term ends on 2 Apr 2026. The group is standardising on Signalvane. Daniel Okafor confirmed receipt on 5 Feb 2026.
Customer view: Douglas says the decision is no reflection on the service. He states it follows the group position that its administration businesses should standardise on Signalvane, and that he has signed the notice.
Ask: he wants receipt confirmed and an orderly end of term, particularly for data.
Next: Daniel promised a wind-down note by the end of the following week, and a named coordinator now that Imogen has left. He pointed out that the brain runs in the customer's own Snowflake account.

- Douglas Baird 2 Feb 2026 14:17Dear Daniel, I am writing to let you know, as a courtesy and in good time, that Lornefield will not be renewing its subscription when the current term ends on 2 Apr 2026. In fairness, this is no reflection on the service you and your colleagues have given us, nor on the work done with Imogen over the years. The group's position is that its administration businesses should standardise on Signalvane, and I am required to follow that position. I have signed the notice accordingly. I would be grateful if you could confirm receipt, and let me know what you will need from us so that the end of the term is orderly, particularly in respect of our data. Kind regards, Douglas Baird
- Daniel Okafor 5 Feb 2026 16:30Dear Douglas, Thank you for telling me directly, and for the kind words about the team. I can confirm that we have received the notice and have recorded it against the term ending on 2 Apr 2026. I understand the position you are in. Lornefield has been with us since the beginning, so I will be sorry to see the brain go, but I'd much rather the end of the term was handled properly than hurriedly. On the practical side, the brain runs inside your own Snowflake account, so your data stays with you throughout. I'll come back to you by the end of next week with a short note of what we would suggest for the wind-down, and who on your side we should coordinate with now that Imogen has left. If anything changes at your end, my door is open. Best wishes, Daniel
