What this says
Current to 10 Oct 26Sales thread after the demo. Craig Paterson, the scheme systems administrator, asks about nightly refresh timing, credential access and connector retry. Nell Ashcombe says Tobias Renwick will answer and a proposal follows.
Ask: Craig wants the nightly refresh finished before his administrators start, and wants notice before it moves. He also asks who can see connector credentials and whether a connector retries when a source is down.
Customer view: Imogen Hartley wants to see the scheme-relationship view used by a real manager before going further. Craig is testing the operational side, not the price.
Next: Tobias Renwick owes precise answers on the thread. Nell Ashcombe will return to Imogen with a proposal once Craig is content.

- Nell Ashcombe 19 Jan 2023 11:38Imogen, Craig, Thank you both for yesterday. Here's what I took away, so tell me if I've got any of it wrong: - the brain connected to your CRM, call recorder and helpdesk without much fuss - Imogen wants to see the scheme-relationship view used by a real manager before going further - Craig has questions about the refresh and about change windows Craig, if you can send me what you'd like answered, Tobias will reply directly. He's copied. Best, Nell
- Craig Paterson 20 Jan 2023 09:07Nell, Just to flag a few things from my side: - What time does the nightly refresh finish? I'd want it done before our administrators start, and I'd like to know before it moves, not after. - How are the connector credentials held, and who can see them? - If a source system is down for maintenance, does the connector retry or does it fail until someone resets it? I'll keep an eye on the demo environment in the meantime and send a screenshot if anything looks odd. Regards, Craig
- Nell Ashcombe 23 Jan 2023 15:39Craig, Imogen, Thanks, Craig, those are the right questions. On the first, the nightly refresh is designed to complete by 07:00 your local time on business days. Tobias will confirm what that means for your set-up and how we would agree a change window with you in advance. On the other two, I'd rather Tobias answered precisely than I paraphrased. He'll reply on the thread, including where the data and credentials sit, which is inside your own Snowflake account. Imogen, once Craig is happy I'll come back to you with a proposal. Best, Nell
