Ask: On 21 Jul 2026 Marcus Bell offered a short usage review ahead of the end-of-November renewal. Gareth Whitlam replied on 22 Jul 2026 with questions rather than a time.
Customer view: Gareth asks what the licence is paying for and how many licensed users logged in this quarter. He wants the summary first and will not agree anything on a call.
Next: Gareth also asked what the recent ticket was about and whether it is resolved. The thread shows no further reply from BB-Demo.

- Marcus Bell 21 Jul 2026 13:51Hi Gareth, Following on from our last conversation, I wanted to come back to you with an update. The contract comes up for renewal at the end of November, so I'd like us to have a clear view of how the brain is being used well before then. Where things stand from my side: - the number of people using it day to day is still lower than it was earlier in the year - one ticket has come in recently, which the support team is working through - nothing is overdue on the invoicing side I think the useful next step is to look together at which teams could be getting more out of it, and which depots have simply stopped asking. Shall we book half an hour in the next week or so? I'll bring a short summary rather than a long deck. Thanks, Marcus
- Gareth Whitlam 22 Jul 2026 16:16Marcus, Thanks. A few questions before I give you any time. What exactly are we paying for if so few people are using it? Can you tell me how many of the licensed users have logged in at all this quarter? I'd also like to know what the ticket was about, and whether it has been resolved or is just logged. Send the summary first. If it shows a falling trend with no plan to reverse it, I will want to discuss the renewal terms seriously, and I will not be agreeing anything on a call. I can find some time on Monday or Tuesday morning. Please suggest a slot. Gareth Whitlam, Finance Director
