What this says
Current to 10 Oct 26Dean Hargreaves reported a slow first load and blank list in the account view before nine. Bethan Lister reproduced it and escalated. By 31 Jul 2024 Dean said it was much better and agreed to close.
Issue: Dean saw a slow first load, a quick second load and a blank list that then fills, mostly before nine during the overnight exception sort. Bethan reproduced it and passed it to engineers with no date promised.
Outcome: on 31 Jul 2024 Dean said it loaded first go and agreed to close. The evidence does not show a cause or a fix.

- Bethan Lister 23 Jul 2024 16:51Hi Dean, I've picked up your ticket. Just so I've got this right: the account view at Warrington takes a long time to load first thing in the morning, and the delivery-exception list sometimes sits there blank for a bit before it fills in. Is that it? I haven't got a cause yet and I don't want to guess, so can you try this and tell me what you see? 1. Open the account view from a fresh browser window (not a tab you've had open since yesterday). 2. Pick one retail customer and open its delivery-exception tickets. 3. Note roughly how long it takes before the list appears. 4. Do the same again about ten minutes later. If you get any error text on screen, copy it exactly and send it over. That helps me a lot. Thanks, Bethan
- Dean Hargreaves 25 Jul 2024 14:17Bethan Tried it. Fresh window was better, first one still slow, second one quick. No error text, just a blank list then it fills. Happens mostly before nine when we're sorting the overnight exceptions. - Bethan Lister 30 Jul 2024 16:46Hi Dean, Thanks for trying that, it was really useful. Slow first load, quick second load, blank list that then fills in. I've now seen the same thing myself using your steps, so I've passed it to our engineers with your notes and the times you gave me. I don't have a date from them, and I won't give you one I can't stand behind. In the meantime, a fresh window before the morning sort is the best workaround I've got. Can you let me know how it's looking at the depot since you last wrote? I'd like to hear it's behaving before I close anything off. Thanks, Bethan
- Dean Hargreaves 31 Jul 2024 16:04Bethan Much better this morning. Loaded first go, no blank list. Lads noticed too, which is rare. Fine to close it. If it's gone odd again I'll shout. Cheers, Dean
