Internal draft proposal of 21 Jan 2026 for the Growth tier, prepared by Lewis Kerr. Annual price £45k, deal amount £57k including one-off implementation. Not yet sent; no availability or P1 response time is stated.

What it is: an unsent draft proposal, marked "Status: Draft" and "for internal review before it goes to Hartside". It proposes the Growth tier across university partnerships and resident services.

Commits: nothing binding, as it is a proposal. It states a Growth subscription "annual price (billed annually in advance)" of £45k and a "Deal amount (first-year subscription plus implementation)" of £57k, all exclusive of VAT.

Unusual: the £45k annual price differs from the v2 Growth list in the company brief, and the draft does not explain the difference. The implementation fee is not shown as a separate line.

Not settled: the connector list, which systems hold nomination agreements and invoices, whether any discount is shown, and Lewis's wording on the implementation line. No service levels, dates or renewal terms are stated, and the evidence does not show whether a proposal was later issued or an order form signed.

Body

Hartside Student Living - Proposal v1

Status: Draft

Prepared by Lewis Kerr, Account Executive, BG-Demo Date: 21 Jan 2026 Account: Hartside Student Living, Nottingham

This draft is for internal review before it goes to Hartside. Open points are listed at the end.

Context

Hartside Student Living operates purpose-built student accommodation, around twelve thousand beds across eight university cities. Today the university partnerships team and the resident services team each look at a different slice of the picture. Nomination agreements sit in one place, resident tickets in another and invoices in a third, so answering a simple question about one university means reconciling systems by hand.

Hartside would like both teams to see each university's nomination agreements, tickets and invoices together, and to ask questions of that combined view in plain language.

What we propose

BG-Demo proposes the Growth tier of B-Glass: one AI-queryable layer over Hartside's own systems, built and run inside Hartside's own Snowflake account.

Read the whole document (2,662 characters)
  • Several teams working from the same layer, starting with university partnerships and resident services
  • Pages, chat and search across the connected sources
  • The dashboards builder, so each team can build the views it needs
  • Quarterly business reviews with the customer success manager, Hollie Grieve
  • A fixed-fee implementation to connect the sources and bring the first teams live

User and connector allowances are those of the Growth tier. The exact connectors to be connected will be confirmed with Hartside before an order form is issued.

Pricing

All prices are in pounds sterling and exclusive of VAT.

ItemAmount
Growth subscription, annual price (billed annually in advance)£45k
One-off fixed-fee implementationIncluded in the deal amount below
Deal amount (first-year subscription plus implementation)£57k

To put a number on it: the deal amount of £57k is the total value of the first year including the one-off implementation fee. The annual price of £45k is the figure that recurs at renewal, subject to the price book in force at that time.

Next steps

  • Walk Hartside through this proposal and confirm the teams and sources in scope
  • Agree the connector list and the go-live order
  • Issue an order form under the BG-Demo master agreement
  • Introduce Hollie Grieve ahead of implementation

Open points before this goes out

  • Confirm with Hartside which systems hold nomination agreements and invoices
  • Confirm whether any discount is to be shown
  • Lewis to review wording on the implementation line

Kind regards, Lewis
