What it says
What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026QBR deck presented 8 Jun 2026 for a Growth customer: active users under four against 40 licensed, down by close to two fifths. One invoice is overdue and the term ends 22 Aug 2026, with a price move at renewal.
What it is: a BG-Demo customer success QBR deck, stored as final, prepared by Amara Obi with account owner Priya Raman. It frames a fall in adoption ahead of renewal and proposes next steps.
Commits: nothing contractual. It restates £44k as "the annual recurring revenue under the executed order form" and a term ending 22 Aug 2026. Actions are owned by Amara and Priya, with dates given only as phrases such as "End of this month".
Unusual: it warns that "the renewal will move to the current Growth list price" but gives no new figure. It also admits the case "is not being delivered day to day" in substance.
Not settled: usage by team and person, who owns the brain, whether the high-priority ticket met the service level, and why the invoice is overdue. The record does not show the outcome of the meeting.

Ashwell Mercer Interiors - QBR
Quarterly business review, Growth tier Presented Monday 8 June 2026 Prepared by Amara Obi, Customer Success Manager, BG-Demo Account owner at BG-Demo: Priya Raman
Status: Final
Where we are
Here's what the numbers say: adoption has slipped this quarter and the renewal is close. This review sets out what we can see, what we cannot yet explain, and what we propose to do about it together.
| Item | Position |
|---|---|
| Customer since | 23 Aug 2024 |
| Tier | Growth |
| Contracted annual recurring revenue | £44k |
| Licensed users | 40 |
| Current term ends | 22 Aug 2026 |
What good looks like
Ashwell Mercer bought Growth so that the project, commercial and credit-control teams could see each client's projects, variations, calls and invoices in one place. The test for this quarter is simple: are those three teams asking the brain their questions, or are they still reconciling by hand?
Usage
Read the whole document (4,857 characters)
- Active users over the last thirty days average a little under four, against forty licensed users.
- That is down by close to two fifths on the previous quarter.
- Forty licences with fewer than four people using them means the brain is reaching a very small part of the business.
We have not broken usage down by team in this pack. That is the first thing to do with you, because it tells us which of the three teams has stopped, and whether it is a handful of people or a whole function.
Value
The original case rested on one view of each client: project status, variations, call notes and invoices side by side. At the current level of use, we cannot honestly say that case is being delivered day to day.
What the records do not show: which questions are still being asked, who asks them, and whether any single person accounts for most of the use. If one or two people carry the usage, that is a key-person risk as well as an adoption problem.
Support and service
| Measure | Last thirty days |
|---|---|
| Tickets raised | two |
| Of which high priority | one |
Two tickets from a user base this small is not a sign of heavy use. It may simply mean few people are left to raise anything. We will review the high-priority ticket with you in the meeting and confirm that it was answered within the Growth service level.
Commercial position
- One invoice is currently overdue.
- Before we treat this as a value concern, we will check the position with our accounting records and with your finance team. It may be a process or billing matter rather than a judgement on the product.
- The contracted figure of £44k is the annual recurring revenue under the executed order form.
Renewal
The current term ends on 22 Aug 2026, so the renewal conversation is already live. Because this account was signed under the earlier price book, the renewal will move to the current Growth list price. We would rather you heard that from us now, alongside a clear plan for adoption, than at the point of paperwork.
We do not want to ask you to renew on a number without a usage story behind it.
Risks we are watching
- Adoption. A fall of close to two fifths in a quarter, from a small base, needs an explanation.
- Champion cover. We need to confirm who at Ashwell Mercer now owns the brain day to day, and whether anyone has left or changed role.
- Overdue invoice. One item to resolve and to understand.
- Renewal timing. The term end is close, and the price will change at renewal.
Opportunities
- Forty licensed users is real headroom. If the credit-control and commercial teams are brought back in, the licence is easily justified.
- Dashboards built by your own team would show investment and make the value visible to directors.
- A short refresher session for each of the three teams, run against their own live projects.
Proposed next steps
| Action | Who | By when |
|---|---|---|
| Confirm who at Ashwell Mercer owns the brain and who else should have access | Amara Obi with your nominated lead | End of this month |
| Break down usage by team and by person | Amara Obi | Before the next call |
| Review the high-priority ticket and confirm the response met the service level | Amara Obi | This month |
| Clarify the overdue invoice with your finance team | Priya Raman | This week |
| Agree a refresher session for each team | Amara Obi with your team leads | Before the end of June |
| Hold the renewal conversation with the right sponsor in the room | Priya Raman and Amara Obi | Well ahead of 22 Aug 2026 |
What we are asking of you
- Tell us honestly what has changed on your side: reorganisation, a system change, a departure or simply a busy quarter.
- Name one person who will own adoption internally.
- Let's get the next QBR in the diary before this one closes, so the follow-up is not left open.
Best, Amara
