Quarterly business review dated 30 Sep 2025 for the Growth tier, written by Marcus Bell. It states £44k a year contracted and 40 licences, with about six active users, no tickets and one overdue invoice to check.

What it is: a customer-facing QBR deck from the Customer Success Manager, stored as final. It is a review, not a contract, so its figures restate the agreement rather than set terms.

Commits: the deck restates "Annual recurring revenue (contracted) | £44k", 40 licensed users and a current term ending 22 Aug 2026. Actions are assigned to Marcus Bell and Priya Raman with loose timings such as "This week" and "Before the next QBR".

Unusual: usage is narrow. Marcus writes "Around six people are using the brain regularly out of forty licences" and reads zero tickets as "quiet rather than healthy".

Not settled: the overdue invoice is unresolved, "I have not yet confirmed whether this is a payment timing matter or something on our billing that needs correcting". No value figure is agreed, and the deck gives no service levels.

Ashwell Mercer Interiors - QBR

Quarterly business review, 30 Sep 2025 Prepared by Marcus Bell, Customer Success Manager, BG-Demo Account owner: Priya Raman

1. Purpose of this review

  • Look at how B-Glass is being used across your project, commercial and credit-control teams.
  • Be honest about where adoption is lower than we both hoped.
  • Agree a short list of practical steps for the coming quarter.
  • Make sure nothing about the contract or invoicing is a surprise ahead of next year.

The subscription sits under the Growth tier, which includes the dashboards builder and a QBR each quarter. This document is that quarterly review.

3. Why you bought it

Ashwell Mercer Interiors fits out offices and retail space for landlords and corporate tenants across London and the Thames Valley. The aim of the brain was simple: let the project, commercial and credit-control teams see each client's projects, variations, calls and invoices in one place, instead of chasing three systems and a spreadsheet before every client conversation.

4. Usage this quarter

MeasureWhat we see

What this tells us

  • Around six people are using the brain regularly out of forty licences. That is a small share of what the Growth tier is built for.
  • The number has drifted down a little rather than collapsed. It is steady, not growing.
  • No tickets at all is good news on the technical side, but with usage this narrow I read it as quiet rather than healthy. Nobody is hitting problems, and equally not many people are asking questions.

I have pulled the numbers by team, and I would like to go through who the regular users are with you. If a handful of people are carrying most of the questions, that matters for continuity if any of them move on.

5. Where the value is showing

  • The people who do use the brain are using it for the right things: pulling together a client's project history, variations and call notes before a meeting.
  • Credit control is the clearest fit. Seeing invoices next to project status and recent calls is exactly what you bought it for.
  • The connected systems are loading and nobody has reported stale data.

What I cannot show you yet is a clear number for time saved or disputes avoided. That is partly because adoption is narrow, and partly because we have not agreed together what to measure.

6. Issues and open points

Adoption

  • Most licences are unused. Commercial and project teams appear least engaged.
  • I do not think this is a product problem. It looks more like a habit and onboarding gap beyond the original group.

Invoicing

  • One invoice is showing as overdue on our side. I have not yet confirmed whether this is a payment timing matter or something on our billing that needs correcting.
  • I will check it internally first, then speak to your finance team so they are not chasing us for the wrong reason.

Support

  • No open tickets and nothing outstanding from you.

7. What I suggest we do next

ActionOwnerTiming
Short working session to walk through the brain with the commercial and project teams, using their own live clientsMarcus Bell with your team leadsOver the next couple of weeks
Agree two or three questions each team should ask the brain every weekMarcus Bell and your operations leadSame session
Build one dashboard for credit control that shows overdue client invoices against project statusMarcus Bell with your credit-control teamWithin the quarter
Check the overdue invoice and confirm the position with your finance teamMarcus Bell, with BG-Demo financeThis week
Review whether the number of licences matches how many people will really use itPriya Raman with your sponsorBefore the next QBR

I am happy to jump on a call to go through any of this. Shall we book half an hour?

8. Looking ahead to renewal

Your current term ends on 22 Aug 2026, so there is time. The point of this review is to use that time well: get more of the team using the brain, put a number on the value, and then have a straightforward conversation about renewal with Priya, grounded in what you have actually seen.

Commercial questions go to Priya Raman. I will keep to adoption and making sure the brain is useful to you.

9. Summary

  • Contracted at £44k a year on the Growth tier, forty licensed users.
  • Usage is narrow and has dipped slightly. No tickets.
  • One invoice to check and clear up.
  • Clear next steps: team sessions, a credit-control dashboard, and agreed measures of value.

Thanks, Marcus
