Final version one proposal from Tom Ashdown for the Starter tier: £18k annual subscription in advance, £24k total first-year deal value including implementation. Payment terms are thirty days. It is a proposal, not an executed order form.

What it is: a proposal dated 6 Dec 2023 for the Starter tier, built inside the customer's own Snowflake account. It is marked final, version one, but it is not a signed contract.

Commits: "The £18k is the annual price of the subscription." The £24k "includes the one-off implementation fee, so it should not be read as an annual figure." Payment terms are thirty days, with quarterly invoicing on request.

Unusual: nothing off the standard Starter terms is stated. The price differs from the v1 list figure in the company brief, but the text gives no reason, and no discount is mentioned.

Not settled: the proposal does not state a start date, a renewal date or connector delivery days. It says connectors named in the order form will carry a live-within-days commitment, and the order form wording is still to be confirmed. Whether it was accepted is not shown.

Kelvinhaugh Pension Services - Proposal

Prepared for: Kelvinhaugh Pension Services, Glasgow Prepared by: Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, BB-Demo Date: Wednesday 6 December 2023 Status: Final, version one

Context

Kelvinhaugh Pension Services administers defined-benefit and defined-contribution schemes on behalf of Scottish employers. Your scheme-relationship managers currently piece together a picture of each client from several separate systems: the CRM, call notes, email threads and the helpdesk. Much of that is done by hand, and it is slow when a trustee or employer asks a question on short notice.

From our conversations, the aim is simple: let the relationship managers ask one place a plain-English question about a scheme and get an answer they can trust, without anyone reconciling spreadsheets first.

What we propose

We propose the Starter tier of the company brain, a single AI-queryable layer over your own data, built and run inside your Snowflake account so that your data stays in your environment.

Starter is designed for one team, which fits the scheme-relationship managers well. It includes:

Read the whole document (3,325 characters)
  • pages, chat and search across the connected sources
  • up to four connectors, the hard limit for the tier
  • the Starter user allowance, a soft limit that we review with you at check-ins
  • a six-monthly check-in with your customer success manager, Daniel Okafor
  • the standard Starter service level for availability, nightly refresh and support response

Implementation

Implementation is a one-off, fixed-fee piece of work lasting four weeks. In that time we will:

  • agree with you which four sources matter most, with your CRM and the helpdesk as likely starting points
  • connect those sources and load the first records
  • run a working session with the relationship managers on their own scheme data
  • hand over to Daniel for adoption support

Connectors named in the order form will carry a commitment to be live within an agreed number of days.

Pricing

ItemBasisAmount
Starter subscriptionAnnual, in advance£18k
Starter implementationOne-off, fixed feeIncluded in the total below
Total first-year deal valueSubscription plus implementation£24k

The £18k is the annual price of the subscription. The £24k is the total value of the deal and includes the one-off implementation fee, so it should not be read as an annual figure. Payment terms are thirty days, and we can invoice quarterly if you prefer.

What we need from you

  • a named sponsor on your side and a day-to-day contact for the implementation
  • read access to the sources we agree to connect
  • a Snowflake account where BB-Demo can be set up
  • two or three relationship managers available for the working session in the final week

Next steps

  • Review this proposal with your colleagues and send us any questions.
  • Tom will confirm the order form wording and the connector list with you.
  • Once the order form is agreed under our Master Services Agreement, we will book the start of the four-week implementation.

Priya Raman, who owns the commercial relationship at BB-Demo, is also happy to join a call if your finance or compliance team would like to go through the terms.

Data as of Fri 9 Oct 2026. Text marked AI was written by the brain from the records listed in its made-from link; an AI output that cannot cite its evidence is refused and the previous text kept. Where two systems disagree (for example a contract and the CRM), the key facts show both values and mark the difference.
