QBR deck presented by Marcus Bell on 3 Sep 2025 for a Starter customer with 15 licensed users. It says only a couple of people use the brain daily, usage has fallen, and the term ends 30 Apr 2026. It states £20k contracted annual recurring revenue.

What it is: a customer success review deck from Marcus Bell, filed as final. It covers agreement, usage, value, support and next steps.

Commits: no service levels or billing terms. It proposes actions: a named owner at Grisedale, a working session with consultants, a refreshed usage report and a joint review "Well before 30 Apr 2026".

Risk: "On an average day, only a couple of people are using the brain" against 15 licences, and "Active use has dropped compared with the previous quarter". Marcus says he has no hard value figure.

Not settled: the deck gives no dates for the actions beyond relative timing, and it does not show whether the owner was named or the renewal agreed. It is a presentation, not a contract, and the £20k is the figure the slide gives as contracted annual recurring revenue.

Grisedale Search & Selection - QBR

Customer success review for Grisedale Search & Selection Presented by Marcus Bell, Customer Success Manager, BB-Demo Wednesday 3 September 2025

Slide one: What I want to cover

Thanks for making the time. I've pulled the numbers and I want to keep this practical. Today:

  • Where usage is, and how it has moved
  • What value the brain is giving your team
  • Anything we have had to fix
  • What we do next, and who does it

Slide two: Your agreement at a glance

Slide three: Usage

  • On an average day, only a couple of people are using the brain. That is well below the 15 licences you have.
  • Active use has dropped compared with the previous quarter. It was already modest, so the fall matters.
  • The brain is still loading each night, so this is not a data problem. People are simply not opening it as often.

What this tells me: the licences are there, but the habit has not spread beyond a small group. I would rather say that plainly than dress it up.

Slide four: Value

When the brain is used, it does what you bought it for. Consultants and the operations manager can see client accounts, open roles and client complaints together, without chasing three systems.

  • Client complaints sit next to the account and the open roles, so the operations manager sees the full picture in one place.
  • Consultants can ask a question in plain English and get an answer, rather than waiting on someone to build a report.

I do not have a hard value figure for you today, and I would not want to make one up. Building that case with you is part of the plan below.

Slide five: Support and issues

  • One support ticket in the last 30 days.
  • No high priority tickets.
  • Nothing outstanding on our side.

The quiet support queue fits the usage picture: few problems, but also few people pushing on the product.

Slide six: What I suggest we do

  • Name an owner. One person at Grisedale who keeps an eye on the brain and brings colleagues in.
  • Run a short working session with the consultants, built around the questions they already ask each week.
  • Re-check usage after those sessions, and share the numbers with you.
  • Look at the term together well ahead of 30 Apr 2026, so the renewal conversation starts from what the team actually uses.

Priya Raman, your Account Executive, will be in touch separately about options for extending use across the desks. I will stay on adoption.
