What it says
What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Formal notice dated 19 May 2026 from Delancey Haig that it will not renew its Growth subscription. Service is to end on 2 Jul 2026. The stated reasons are an in-house data platform and falling use. The notice cites £44k contracted annual recurring revenue.
What it is: a final notice of non-renewal, signed by Rupert Lasker (Chief Financial Officer) and Kwame Asante (Chief Technology Officer), addressed to Daniel Okafor and Priya Raman. It says "This is a decision about where we run our data tooling." and is not a complaint about service.
Commits: the customer asks BG-Demo to confirm receipt, confirm the end date, confirm the final invoice position, agree a handover plan and remove access after the end date. It says "nothing is overdue on either side", which is the customer's own understanding.
Unusual: the customer asks BG-Demo not to change connectors or account configuration without agreeing it with Kwame first. It also states that day-to-day use "has also fallen over recent months".
Not settled: the notice does not show whether BG-Demo replied, whether the £44k matches the executed order form, or what happened after 2 Jul 2026. It is a customer statement, not executed paper.

1. Purpose of this notice
This letter is formal notice from Delancey Haig that we will not renew our BG-Demo subscription at the end of the current term. The subscription will therefore come to an end on Thursday 2 July 2026, and we ask BG-Demo to treat that date as the last day of service.
This is a decision about where we run our data tooling. It is not a complaint about BG-Demo's team or about the service we have received.

The figures above are given so that both sides are looking at the same agreement. If BG-Demo's records differ from them, please tell us promptly so that we can reconcile them against the executed order form.
3. Why we are not renewing
We bought Growth so that our client-account directors could see each client's vacancies, placements, invoices and complaints together. It did that job, and we are grateful to the BG-Demo team for the way the implementation was handled and for the care Daniel has taken with us since go-live.
Over the past year the firm has decided to build and run its own data platform with an in-house team. The client data that the brain has been drawing together will move to that in-house platform, and the work the brain did will be done there. Day-to-day use of the brain among our people has also fallen over recent months, and we do not think it right to renew a subscription at the same scale when so few of the licensed users are asking it questions.
We appreciate that this is not the answer BG-Demo would have wanted.
4. What we ask of BG-Demo
- Confirm receipt. Please acknowledge this notice in writing and confirm that no renewal will be raised or invoiced for a further term.
- Confirm the end date. Please confirm that service ends on Thursday 2 July 2026 and that no further subscription charges fall due after that date.
- Confirm the final invoice position. Please let our finance team know whether anything remains to be invoiced for the current term. Our understanding is that nothing is overdue on either side.
- Support an orderly handover. Please agree with our CTO a short handover plan covering how our data, configuration and any pages or dashboards we built can be taken across to our own platform before the end date.
- Confirm access removal. After the end date, please remove access for all of our users and connectors, and confirm to us in writing when that has been done.
5. Data and the handover
Because BG-Demo runs inside our own Snowflake account, we expect the underlying data to remain ours throughout and after the term. Our CTO, Kwame Asante, will own the technical side of the transition and will write separately with the detail he needs from BG-Demo. In particular, we would like a clear written description of what BG-Demo has configured in our account, so that our team can decide what to keep, what to rebuild and what to switch off.
We would also ask that BG-Demo does not make changes to our connectors or our account configuration between now and the end date without agreeing them with Kwame first, so that the handover is not disturbed.
6. Working together until the end date
Until Thursday 2 July 2026 we will continue to use the service as normal, and we expect it to be supported on the terms of our agreement. We are happy to meet Daniel and the account owner to close out the relationship properly, including a short review of what the brain was used for, which may be useful to BG-Demo as well as to us.
Any questions about the commercial side of this notice should come to Rupert Lasker. Technical questions about the handover should go to Kwame Asante.
7. Reservation
Nothing in this notice waives any right or obligation under our agreement with BG-Demo, and both parties remain bound by the confidentiality and data protection terms of that agreement for as long as those terms provide.
8. Signed on behalf of Delancey Haig
