Transcript
- Sophie LingMorning, Lien, Wim. Thanks for joining this early. I know Belgium is a bit ahead, so I appreciate the time.
- Lien VerstraeteNo problem. So BG-Demo is a data integration tool, is that right?
- Sophie LingThat's one way to think about it. We call it the brain. It sits on top of your existing systems and lets you ask questions of all your data at once instead of checking multiple places. For a distributor like Kempenland, you'd connect your CRM, your finance system, maybe your order system, and you get answers about customers, orders, margins, everything.
- Wim GoossensWhat kind of questions?
- Sophie LingFor instance: which customers are buying less than they did last year, or what's our gross margin by product line, or show me high-value orders from the last month. Things you're probably already asking, but instead of a spreadsheet exercise, the brain gives you the answer instantly.
- Lien VerstraeteThat sounds useful. What systems would we need to connect?
- Sophie LingIdeally your CRM, your accounting system, maybe email and calls if you record them. That's three to five systems depending on what you want visibility into. We call the licence tier Growth for companies your size. It lets you connect up to eight systems, forty users, includes dashboards, all of it.
- Wim GoossensAnd what's the cost?
- Sophie LingFifty-six thousand for the first year all-in. That's the implementation and the first year's subscription. It's a one-time implementation cost, then you renew the subscription annually after that.
- Lien VerstraeteHow long would implementation take?
- Sophie LingEight weeks. We handle all the technical work, you just give us system access and some time for training.
- Wim GoossensAnd how many of our people would need to be involved?
- Sophie LingNot many. You'd need someone from each system who can give us access, and then whoever's going to be building dashboards or asking the brain questions regularly. Could be just a couple of people to start.
- Lien VerstraeteOkay. So if we wanted to move forward, what happens next?
- Sophie LingNext step would be a demo. I'd bring someone from our team to show you the brain working against your data. We'd need access to your CRM and finance system to pull in some test data. After that demo, if you're happy, we'd move to a proposal and then a contract. Does that timeline work for you?
- Wim GoossensWe're looking at a decision by the end of the year.
- Sophie LingThat gives us time. Discovery, demo, proposal, sign-off by early December and we'd kick off. That's totally doable. I'll send you a summary of what we discussed and the next steps. Any questions?
- Lien VerstraeteNot from me. I think you've given us a good overview.
- Wim GoossensAgreed. Let's move forward with a demo.
- Sophie LingBrilliant. I'll be in touch next week to schedule it. Thanks for your time.
