What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026On 28 Nov 2024 Octavia Blake saw the brain on Fulbourn's own systems. She probed audit trail, dashboards and freshness, and asked for a proposal. Nicholas reviews it with her, with a close aimed at early February.
What happened: Lewis Kerr and Hannah Lowe demoed the brain to Octavia Blake on 28 Nov 2024, connected to Fulbourn's underwriting system, Salesforce, email and SharePoint. Hannah loaded a representative month of data.
Customer view: Octavia's questions were about proof of who ran a search, shareable dashboards and data currency. She called it powerful and said it sounds good.
Commercial: This is an Enterprise pitch: audit logging, the Sandbox, one hundred fifty users and the freshness credit. Slack or Teams integration is not available out of the box.
Watch: Nicholas was not on the call. The proposal is an open item, and the evidence does not show whether terms were agreed.

Transcript
- Lewis KerrMorning, Octavia. Thanks for making time. How are you getting on with the questionnaire we sent?
- Octavia BlakeNearly done. We've mapped out all the systems and access is almost in place. You should be good to connect.
- Lewis KerrPerfect. So Hannah's here: she's our Solutions Engineer, she'll build the demo environment and walk you through it. Hannah?
- Hannah LoweMorning Octavia. What I've done is connected to your underwriting system, Salesforce, email, and SharePoint. I've loaded a representative month of data, so you get a sense of the volume and the query patterns. Let me walk you through a few searches.
- Octavia BlakeGreat. What kind of queries can I run?
- Hannah LoweAnything. You could ask: show me all open files where a broker has called more than twice in the last two weeks. Or: find all files with pricing disputes mentioned in emails or calls. The brain brings back the results with full context.
- Octavia BlakeHow do I define what's a dispute? Does it have to be a keyword search?
- Hannah LoweBoth ways. Keyword search if you want to be precise, search for 'dispute' and it'll surface it. Or you can ask in plain English and the brain interprets the intent. For disputes, it looks for keywords, sentiment, context.
- Octavia BlakeOkay, show me.
- Hannah LoweRight. I'll search: files with pricing disagreement mentioned in the last month. Here, you can see it's bringing back eight files, showing the specific email, the call note where it came up, the file itself. One search, all three systems joined.
- Octavia BlakeThat's powerful. What about audit trail? If I run this search, can you prove I ran it?
- Hannah LoweYes. All queries are logged: who ran it, when, what they asked, what data was returned. Enterprise includes audit logging, so you're compliant for any regulatory check.
- Lewis KerrAnd any export, if you want to pull the results into Excel or a report, that's audit-logged too.
- Octavia BlakeWhat about dashboard building? Can my underwriters create their own views?
- Hannah LoweYes. Enterprise includes the Sandbox: that's a development environment where your underwriters can experiment with the data, build dashboards, run ad-hoc queries, without touching production.
- Octavia BlakeAnd the dashboards, can I share them across the team?
- Hannah LoweAbsolutely. They're saved in the brain, and anyone with access can view and use them. You could have a dashboard per practice area: say, professional lines, financial lines, and each one's updated nightly as new data comes in.
- Lewis KerrAnd that's all included in the Enterprise package.
- Octavia BlakeWhat about integration? Can I connect the brain to other tools, like Slack or Teams?
- Hannah LoweNot out of the box yet. But you can export results, and we have a roadmap to add integrations. For now, the web interface is the main way you interact with it.
- Octavia BlakeHow many underwriters can use this simultaneously?
- Hannah LoweYou've got one hundred fifty users included. They can all log in at the same time and run queries. The system scales.
- Octavia BlakeRight. And data freshness? How current is the data?
- Hannah LoweNightly. Every business day, by seven in the morning, all data from yesterday is indexed and searchable. If data doesn't load, you get a credit against your service fee.
- Lewis KerrThat's Enterprise-level freshness guarantee. So you know if there's a problem, we're accountable.
- Octavia BlakeAlright. I think we're getting close to being ready. What happens now?
- Lewis KerrWe finalize the commercial terms: the all-in investment, the implementation timeline, any custom service levels you need. I'll send you a clean proposal this week. You review with Nicholas, and then we can have a final negotiation call and get to signature.
- Octavia BlakeWhen?
- Lewis KerrProposal by end of week. Give you a week to review. Then we can talk terms and aim to close by early February, so you're live in the spring.
- Hannah LoweDuring implementation, you'll be in close touch with our solutions team. We'll plan the timeline with you, make sure everything goes smoothly.
- Octavia BlakeSounds good. Send the proposal over.
- Lewis KerrWill do. Cheers, Octavia.
- Hannah LoweThanks, Octavia. Speak soon.
