What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Eilidh Rutherford and Niall Sutherland described manual report compilation across about forty schemes. Harvey Doyle quoted Growth at sixty-two thousand including implementation, with a proposal to follow and a mid-December close.
What happened: Harvey Doyle ran discovery on 8 Sep 2026 with Eilidh Rutherford and Niall Sutherland. They described scheme data spread across the administration system, emails, call notes and spreadsheets, with trustee secretaries compiling reports by hand.
Customer view: Niall said the manual work slows the team as schemes and regulatory demands grow. Eilidh asked about set-up and cost, and both accepted a proposal as the next step.
Commercial: Harvey quoted Growth at sixty-two thousand including implementation, with twenty connectors and up to forty users. The proposal is an open item, and no order form exists.
Watch: the price book shows Growth at 8 connectors and 8 weeks of implementation, not twenty connectors and twelve weeks. The verbal terms need checking before the proposal goes out.

- The sixty-two thousand figure was given verbally and is not yet in any proposal.

As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- A new Growth customer: about forty schemes and about fifteen staff with a clear manual-reporting problem.
- Dashboards and trustee pages map directly to the pain Niall and Eilidh described.
Transcript
- Harvey DoyleEilidh, Niall, can you hear me okay?
- Eilidh RutherfordYes, we can. Hi Harvey.
- Niall SutherlandGood.
- Harvey DoyleGreat. Thanks for making the time. So I thought we'd use this call to understand your challenges, specifically around managing pension scheme data, and then we can have a proper conversation about whether BG-Demo might help.
- Eilidh RutherfordGood. Yes, we're looking at ways to consolidate our data. We manage quite a few schemes, and trustees are always asking for information: scheme performance, member details, communication history, and it's quite scattered at the moment.
- Harvey DoyleTell me more. Where's that data sitting now?
- Eilidh RutherfordIt's in our main database: our scheme administration system: but we also have emails, call notes, some spreadsheets for ad-hoc reporting. Our trustee secretaries have to manually pull information together for trustee meetings.
- Niall SutherlandAnd it's slowing us down. We're handling more schemes and more complex regulatory requirements. Having to manually compile reports takes time we could spend on higher-value work.
- Harvey DoyleHow many schemes are you managing?
- Niall SutherlandAbout forty. Across different platforms, some on our old system, some we've migrated more recently. It's fragmented.
- Harvey DoyleAnd your team, how many people are managing all of this?
- Eilidh RutherfordAbout fifteen of us. We have scheme trustees: external people: and then our team, which is operations, scheme secretaries, data analysts.
- Harvey DoyleThe brain we build solves exactly this. It sits on top of your scheme administration system, your emails, calls, any other systems you use, and creates a single searchable layer. A trustee asks a question, what's the current position on member contributions, and the brain returns the answer from all your data sources instantly. No manual compilation.
- Niall SutherlandHow does it work technically?
- Harvey DoyleWe build connectors to your systems: your main database, email system, call recordings, anything else you need in there. Everything sits in your Snowflake, which you own. We host the brain inside that. Your team searches it, builds reports, whatever you need.
- Eilidh RutherfordAnd what's involved to get this set up?
- Harvey DoyleImplementation is twelve weeks for Growth. We map your data and systems in the first two weeks, build the connectors in weeks three to six, test in weeks seven to nine, train your team in weeks ten and eleven, and you're live in week twelve. We work closely with your IT team throughout.
- Niall SutherlandAnd timing, if we decide to go ahead?
- Harvey DoyleWe'd close in mid-December and start in January. Go live by mid-April.
- Eilidh RutherfordOkay. And what's the cost?
- Harvey DoyleGrowth is sixty-two thousand including implementation. That gets you twenty connectors, up to forty users, dashboards, the full suite. I'll send you a detailed proposal with a breakdown.
- Niall SutherlandWhat kind of support do you provide?
- Harvey DoyleWe do quarterly business reviews: you and us, we look at how the brain is delivering value, what's working, what you need next. Any issues, you have a named contact. And we keep the data fresh, nightly refreshes so you always have current information.
- Eilidh RutherfordThat sounds good. What's the next step?
- Harvey DoyleI'll send you the proposal. You review it, talk internally, and let's get something in the diary for early next week to discuss.
- Niall SutherlandSounds good.
- Harvey DoyleGreat. Thanks both. Speak soon.
