What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Week-two onboarding call. Portal connector is live, CRM and call recorder are in testing, email is next. Kronfeld's team is happy with the plan and asked about Snowflake compute use. Philipp owes a data quality review by end of week.
What happened: Hamza reported the portal connector live and pulling daily, with CRM and call recorder in initial tests and email due by end of week. The brain layer follows, usually two weeks once source data is clean.
Customer view: Stefanie Lange, Head of Broker Management, said the search and chat description was "exactly what we want". Philipp Schulz, Data Platform Lead, said the test environment looked good.
Watch: Philipp asked how much Snowflake compute the brain uses. Hamza said it should be modest and promised to monitor it together, so credit usage is an open worry that should be checked early.
Commercial: No price or renewal talk. The value case rests on the first demo, which Hamza said would come in a couple of weeks.

Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Philipp Schulz to flag data quality gaps in the first three connectors to Hamza Akhtar by end of the week.
- Hamza Akhtar to bring the email connector live by end of the following week and then demo the brain.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Philipp raised Snowflake compute cost, and an unexpected rise in credit usage could sour the early experience.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- A well-run demo of cross-system broker search could establish value with Stefanie's team early.
Transcript
- Hamza AkhtarRight, so we're just over a week into the build. Philipp, you've had a chance to look at the test environment we set up?
- Philipp SchulzYes, I've been in there. Looks good. We've got the portal data coming through, CRM is looking solid.
- Hamza AkhtarBrilliant. And the call recorder, any issues there?
- Philipp SchulzNo, that's clean. I can see the call metadata coming in fine.
- Hamza AkhtarGreat. So here's where we are. Portal connector is live and pulling data daily. CRM and call recorder are going through our initial tests. Email is next, we'll have that in by end of week. Once all four are feeding data, we move to the brain layer.
- Philipp SchulzHow long does the brain layer take?
- Hamza AkhtarUsually two weeks once all the source data is clean and normalized. We build the relationships between systems so when Stefanie's team searches for a broker, they see submissions, complaints, calls, all linked together.
- Stefanie LangeAnd what does that look like from our end?
- Hamza AkhtarYou get a search box and a chat interface. Type a broker name, ask a question like 'Show me all complaints from March' and it pulls the records from all four systems and shows you a summary.
- Stefanie LangeThat's exactly what we want.
- Philipp SchulzHow much Snowflake compute does this use?
- Hamza AkhtarWe're designed to be pretty efficient, queries run on your compute, we're not trying to warehouse everything. You'll see an uptick in your credit usage, but it should be modest. We can monitor it together and optimize if needed.
- Philipp SchulzOkay, I'll keep an eye on that.
- Hamza AkhtarSo here's my ask, can you review the data quality in the test environment for the first three connectors? Any obvious gaps or duplicates, flag them to me by end of the week. Then we can clean them up before moving to production.
- Philipp SchulzHappy to. How should I flag issues?
- Hamza AkhtarSend me a note in Slack with the record IDs or a description. I'll pick them up and come back with a fix.
- Stefanie LangeWhen do we get to see this working?
- Hamza AkhtarIn a couple of weeks, once all the connectors are live and we've built the brain layer. We'll do a demo, show you a real search so you can see what your teams are going to be able to do.
- Stefanie LangePerfect.
- Hamza AkhtarRight. So the next milestone is data quality review by end of week, email connector live by end of next week, and we reconvene here next Tuesday at the usual time. Anything else?
- Philipp SchulzNo, I think we're good.
- Stefanie LangeLooks like it. Thanks, Hamza.
- Hamza AkhtarCheers, both. Catch you next week.
