What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Tarnbeck's Rachael Dixon and Colin Airey described daily time lost jumping between three systems. Priya Raman quoted Starter. Colin said the firm is regulated, which could point to Enterprise. A demo on their own data was agreed.
What happened: Priya Raman ran a discovery call on 12 Sep 2024 with Rachael Dixon and Colin Airey. They described CRM, renewals and claims in three separate systems, and agreed to a demo on their own data.
Customer view: Rachael called the problem a daily frustration. Colin asked about set-up time, cost, data ownership and security.
Commercial: Priya quoted Starter at 19,500 a year plus a 6,000 implementation fee. She also said eight weeks of work, where the Starter implementation is normally four weeks, so that needs checking.
Watch: Colin said the firm is regulated, and Priya said Enterprise might fit better. The evidence does not show a decision on tier.

Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Priya Raman to book a demo on Tarnbeck's own data, about two weeks out as Colin Airey asked.
- Priya Raman to send the info pack with company background and case studies.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- The eight weeks quoted for Starter differs from the normal four weeks and may set a wrong expectation.
- A regulated buyer may need Enterprise security review, which Starter does not include.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Enterprise could fit if Colin Airey's regulatory needs call for a full security review and executive sponsor.
- Starter for one team across renewals and claims data, at 19,500 a year plus a 6,000 implementation fee.
Transcript
- Priya RamanHi Rachael, hi Colin, thanks for making the time. I'm Priya, Account Executive here at BG-Demo. Really pleased to finally get you on a call.
- Colin AireyThanks for reaching out. Yeah, we've been looking at options for a little while.
- Rachael DixonYeah, so we've got quite a bit of data scattered across systems and it's a pain to pull together.
- Priya RamanRight. Tell me more about that. What systems are you using today?
- Rachael DixonSo we've got the CRM for client info, a separate system for renewals, and then claims are in another system. When a client calls in, we're jumping between all three.
- Priya RamanThat sounds chaotic. How many people are hitting those systems?
- Rachael DixonThe whole team, really. Me, a couple of brokers, and admin support. All of us are doing that jumping around.
- Priya RamanOkay. And how painful is it? I mean, is it a daily frustration or is it costing you clients?
- Rachael DixonIt's a daily thing. We lose time, and sometimes we miss things because we're not seeing everything in one place. It'd be much better if we could see a client and pull up all their renewals and claims at once.
- Priya RamanThat's exactly what the brain does. Let me explain. We build one query layer over all your systems: your CRM, your data, everything, and your team can search it and ask questions without logging into three different platforms.
- Colin AireyHow long does that take to set up?
- Priya RamanFor a Starter setup like yours: you'd be about 15 users, four connectors, that's probably eight weeks of work from our side, including all the configuration. And there's a one-time implementation fee.
- Rachael DixonWhat's the annual cost?
- Priya RamanStarter's 19,500 a year, plus the implementation fee. It's fixed, so there's no surprises.
- Colin AireyAnd what's the implementation fee?
- Priya RamanThat's 6,000 for Starter. So all-in for the first year, you're looking at about 25,500.
- Rachael DixonRight. And after that?
- Priya RamanThen it's just the 19,500 annually, renews every year.
- Colin AireyOkay. And we'd own the data? It's in our system?
- Priya RamanYes, the brain runs inside your Snowflake account. You own all the data, we just manage the query layer.
- Colin AireyGood. What kind of security do you have?
- Priya RamanWe're quite security-focused. Enterprise customers get a full security review, but for Starter we still have standards in place. Happy to walk through all that. Do you have a big security requirement?
- Colin AireyWe're a regulated business, so yes.
- Priya RamanGot it. That's good to know. For Starter we can probably work with you, but if security's a big requirement, there might be cases where Enterprise is a better fit. That's something we can explore.
- Rachael DixonWhat's the difference?
- Priya RamanEnterprise gets more controls, a dedicated executive sponsor, and a deeper security review. But it's also a bigger investment. Let me send you some info and we can explore. First thing is, does this sound like something you'd want to explore?
- Colin AireyYeah, I think it does. What's the next step?
- Priya RamanI'd like to walk you through a demo on your own data. See what it would look like for your use case. You'd get to see how we'd pull together renewals and claims for a sample client. Does that work?
- Rachael DixonYeah, that would be helpful.
- Priya RamanGreat. Let me find a time. How does next week look?
- Colin AireyNext week's pretty packed, but maybe the week after?
- Priya RamanTwo weeks out, yeah. I'll get something in the diary. I'll send you an info pack too: company background, case studies, that sort of thing. Cool?
- Rachael DixonPerfect.
- Priya RamanGreat. Thanks, both. Speak soon.
- Colin AireyCheers.
