Discovery call: client information is split across CRM, email, calls and a finance spreadsheet. Priya Raman pitched Growth at £44k plus £12k implementation and promised a demo. Darryl Kozak, the CFO, tested cost and exit terms.

What happened: Priya Raman held a discovery call on 24 Nov 2025 with Meghan Fraser and Darryl Kozak. Priya recommended Growth and promised a demo on data similar to theirs.

Customer view: Meghan described client information scattered across the CRM, email trails and call recordings, with finance in an unconnected spreadsheet. Darryl said working out which clients generate revenue is a slow manual process.

Commercial: Priya quoted Growth at £44k for the subscription and £12k for implementation, over eight weeks. Darryl checked the cost was annual and asked about exit: twelve months from go-live, then thirty days notice.

Watch: Nothing was agreed on the call, and the evidence does not show whether the demo took place. Priya's one-hour response applies in London business hours, which she said start at 06:00 for them.

Follow-up

Next steps

As at Fri 9 Oct 2026
  • Priya Raman to email a Growth one-pager and case studies on 24 Nov 2025.
  • Priya Raman to send demo date options for mid to late the following month.
  • Meghan Fraser and Darryl Kozak to pick a demo slot, with a live date early in the new year as the aim.

Risks

As at Fri 9 Oct 2026
  • Darryl, the CFO, probed total cost and exit terms before any demo had been seen.
  • Finance data sits in an unconnected spreadsheet, which may complicate connector design.
  • London business hours start at 06:00 for the customer, so the Growth one-hour response may suit them poorly.

Opportunities

As at Fri 9 Oct 2026
  • Growth fits a team of twenty to twenty-five CRM users plus a dozen ticketing users, within its 40 user limit.
  • The dashboards builder answers Darryl's wish to see revenue by client without manual reports.

    Priya Raman
Meghan, Darryl, good morning. Sorry, I know it's early for you. Thanks so much for taking the call.
  2. Meghan Fraser
    Meghan Fraser
No problem. We're keen to learn about BG-Demo. Darryl and I were talking last week about how we're struggling to get a single view of customer interactions, and your name came up.
  3. Priya Raman
    Priya Raman
Brilliant. That's exactly what we solve. So Meghan, before I jump in, tell me what's broken right now. What's the pain?
  4. Meghan Fraser
    Meghan Fraser
Okay, so we're a commercial insurance brokerage. We have client relationship managers, underwriters, a few different teams. Right now when a client calls in, there's a record in our CRM, there's probably an email trail, there's definitely call recordings, but it's all fragmented. A new broker picking up a client has to pull information from three or four places.
  5. Darryl Kozak
    Darryl Kozak
From a finance perspective, we want to understand which clients are generating revenue, what touchpoints are happening, whether our underwriting team is talking to the right people. Right now, that's a manual process, someone's running reports, someone's listening to calls. It's slow.
  6. Priya Raman
    Priya Raman
So you've got CRM, calls, email, what else is in your stack? Ticketing system, any finance or ERP data?
  7. Meghan Fraser
    Meghan Fraser
We've got a ticketing system for claims and underwriting requests. Finance is in a spreadsheet, it's not connected to anything. And email is in Microsoft.
  8. Priya Raman
    Priya Raman
Okay. And how many people are touching these systems regularly?
  9. Meghan Fraser
    Meghan Fraser
The CRM is probably twenty, twenty-five people. The ticketing system maybe a dozen. Calls obviously everyone, but not everyone listens back.
  10. Priya Raman
    Priya Raman
Right. So we're looking at a bigger team, which is great. That's why I think Growth tier is probably what you need, it's designed for companies like yours that have multiple teams and want to scale.
  11. Darryl Kozak
    Darryl Kozak
What's the difference between Growth and your other tiers?
  12. Priya Raman
    Priya Raman
Sure. So Starter is for small teams, single department, up to fifteen users. Growth is for companies like yours: multiple teams, up to forty users, eight connectors instead of four. You get quarterly business reviews with us, so we're properly invested in your success. And you get access to the dashboards builder, so your ops team can build custom views.
  13. Meghan Fraser
    Meghan Fraser
    How much does Growth cost?
  14. Priya Raman
    Priya Raman
So Growth is forty-four thousand a year for the subscription, plus twelve thousand for implementation. That's eight weeks to get you live, running a proper security review and connector design. All-in first year is fifty-six thousand.
  15. Darryl Kozak
    Darryl Kozak
And that's the full annual cost, not monthly?
  16. Priya Raman
    Priya Raman
Annual, paid upfront. So you'd invoice the forty-four thousand for the subscription and the twelve thousand for implementation as one.
  17. Meghan Fraser
    Meghan Fraser
Okay. So fifty-six for everything in year one. What about year two?
  18. Priya Raman
    Priya Raman
Year two it's just forty-four thousand, the implementation is one-off. You might add users or connectors, which would be extra, but the base subscription is forty-four. Then it renews every year on the same date.
  19. Darryl Kozak
    Darryl Kozak
What kind of support comes with that?
  20. Priya Raman
    Priya Raman
You get a named account manager: that's me, or someone like me: and quarterly business reviews where we dig into how you're using the brain, what value you're getting, and what might be next. Support is one-hour response time on anything that breaks. And all your data updates every night.
  21. Meghan Fraser
    Meghan Fraser
So if there's a problem during the day, we get a response within an hour?
  22. Priya Raman
    Priya Raman
During business hours, yes, nine to five, London time. So that's six AM for you. Obviously we can't promise midnight responses, but if it's anything urgent during the day you're covered.
  23. Darryl Kozak
    Darryl Kozak
Fair. What happens if we sign up and decide it's not for us?
  24. Priya Raman
    Priya Raman
You get a twelve-month contract from go-live. After that, you can walk away with thirty days notice. But honestly, most companies don't. Once you've built dashboards and your teams are using the brain daily, there's real stickiness.
  25. Meghan Fraser
    Meghan Fraser
Okay. And the eight-week implementation, what does that involve from us?
  26. Priya Raman
    Priya Raman
There's a kickoff where you intro your CRM admin, your IT person, the call recording owner, anyone else who needs to be in the loop. Then we design the connectors, we do a security review, which is more in-depth for Growth, and we test everything. Then a go-live call and you're off.
  27. Darryl Kozak
    Darryl Kozak
And when could we start this?
  28. Priya Raman
    Priya Raman
If we can get everything aligned in the next month or so, we could be live early in the new year. But let's do a demo first, show you the brain working on data similar to yours. That usually clinches it.
  29. Meghan Fraser
    Meghan Fraser
    When can you do that?
  30. Priya Raman
    Priya Raman
I'd say maybe a couple of weeks, mid to late next month. I'll send you some date options. In the meantime, I'll email over a one-pager on Growth and some case studies so you can see what other companies are doing with this.
  31. Darryl Kozak
    Darryl Kozak
    Sounds good. Thanks, Priya.
  32. Priya Raman
    Priya Raman
Brilliant. I'll get those over today. Really excited about this one, I think you're a perfect fit. Cheers, you two. Speak soon.
