On the 30 Oct 2023 demo, Andy Brownlie and Steven Gillies saw the brain on Growth. Andy asked for the order form to be sent. Year one was quoted at sixty-two thousand all-in. No order form is shown as signed.

What happened: Tobias Renwick walked Andy and Steven through the architecture, search, connector warnings and dashboards. Tom Ashdown recapped Growth with eight weeks of implementation.

Customer view: Steven said the search would save him an hour a day. Andy asked what happens if a connector breaks, then said they had seen enough.

Commercial: Andy asked for the order form, so a Growth deal is in play. The sixty-two thousand all-in figure is what Tom quoted on the call, not a signed price, and the call gives no split of it.

Watch: The evidence does not show an executed order form or which connectors were chosen. The week-one connector list is still open.

Follow-up

Next steps

Current to 9 Oct 26
  • Tom Ashdown to send the order form and follow-up documents to Andy Brownlie.
  • Agree the connectors to go live in week one: calls, CRM and finance were named as examples.
  • Schedule the kickoff once the order form is signed.

Risks

Current to 9 Oct 26
  • No executed order form is shown, so the quoted year-one figure remains a proposal.
  • Andy's question about a broken connector shows data staleness is a concern to address in onboarding.

Opportunities

Current to 9 Oct 26
  • Growth tier with dashboards, which Andy asked about and Tobias said the team could build.
  • Wider use by sales and finance, which Tom raised alongside Steven's traffic office use.

Afternoon, Andy, Steven. Good to see you both again. Tobias is here, he's our CTO, designed the whole architecture. He'll walk you through what the brain does and answer any technical questions.
  2. Andy Brownlie

Cheers, Tobias. Steven and I are keen to see how this would actually work for us.
  3. Tobias Renwick

Happy to. Let me start with the architecture, because it matters for a business like yours. Your data stays in your Snowflake warehouse. We build an indexing layer on top. When Steven or anyone else asks the brain a question, we search that index, fetch the results, and show them, all within your account, no data leaving.
  4. Steven Gillies

So it's not cloud-based somewhere else?
  5. Tobias Renwick
    Tobias Renwick None
Your data never leaves. The index lives in your Snowflake. We run the queries from our infrastructure, but we're querying your data. It's the trade-off between simplicity and control, you get control.
  6. Andy Brownlie

That's reassuring. So what does Steven actually do with it?
  7. Tobias Renwick
    Tobias Renwick None
Let me show you. Steven, imagine you want to pull up all the jobs for a particular customer in the last three months: what they called in about, what we've done for them, what they owe. You'd come to the brain's search bar and ask: 'Show me jobs for customer ABC, last three months.' One search. You get calls, tickets, invoices, all cross-linked.
  8. Steven Gillies

That would save me an hour a day, easy.
  9. Tom Ashdown

And you're not the only one who'd use it. Sales could ask the same question to see what margins we're running on a customer. Finance could check payment history in the same view. Everyone's asking the same data sources.
  10. Tobias Renwick

The brain pulls from your call recorder, your helpdesk, your CRM, your finance system, all eight connectors you'd have on Growth. The data refreshes nightly; by morning you're querying yesterday's calls and tickets. Every answer is current within twenty-four hours.
  11. Andy Brownlie

What if a connector breaks, say our CRM is down for maintenance?
  12. Tobias Renwick
    Tobias Renwick None
The brain will tell you. We monitor every connector. If one stops syncing, you'll see a warning: 'CRM connector last synced twelve hours ago, data may be stale.' You decide if you want to wait for a refresh or check the source manually.

What happens when I ask a question that the brain doesn't know?
  14. Tobias Renwick
    Tobias Renwick None
It will tell you it doesn't have an answer. And often it will suggest what data you'd need to connect to answer it. For example: 'I can't answer that with calls and tickets alone, I'd need your HR system to see scheduling data.' That feedback is valuable.
  15. Andy Brownlie
    Andy Brownlie None
Right. And you mentioned dashboards earlier?
  16. Tobias Renwick
    Tobias Renwick None
On Growth, yes. Beyond search, you can build dashboards. Your team could build a 'jobs by status' dashboard, a 'customer health' dashboard, whatever matters. Those live in the brain and update every night with fresh data.

So to recap: you're at Growth, which is forty users, eight connectors, dashboards and quarterly check-ins. The all-in cost for year one is sixty-two thousand. We implement over eight weeks, and you're asking the brain questions by week eight.
  18. Andy Brownlie
    Andy Brownlie None
Okay. I think we've seen enough. What's the next step?
  19. Tom Ashdown
    Tom Ashdown None
If you're ready, we'll get an order form in front of you. You'll sign it, and we'll schedule your kickoff. My recommendation is to nail down the connectors you want live in week one: calls, CRM, finance, whatever, and we'll start the configuration.
  20. Andy Brownlie
    Andy Brownlie None
Sounds good. Send the form over.
  21. Tom Ashdown
    Tom Ashdown None
Will do. I'll follow up with the docs and we'll get you scheduled. Cheers, Andy, Steven.

Data as of Fri 9 Oct 2026. Text marked AI was written by the brain from the records listed in its made-from link; an AI output that cannot cite its evidence is refused and the previous text kept. Where two systems disagree (for example a contract and the CRM), the key facts show both values and mark the difference.
