What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Kadewerk Software's CFO Maarten Bosman and Sanne de Wit reviewed the 25,500 Starter proposal. Questions covered billing, renewal and exit. Maarten said it looked fine. Signature targeted for early July.
What happened: Maarten asked whether 25,500 was one-off, then about annual billing, renewal and support. Lewis Kerr said it is all-in for year one and invoiced annually in advance.
Customer view: Maarten said "I think this is fine" and Sanne agreed the timeline was workable. Sanne also asked what happens if they no longer need it, which is an exit question worth noting.
Commercial: Lewis will send the order form the same day. The renewal notice comes ninety days before term end and a thirty-day notice clause applies.
Watch: Nothing is signed. A decision is hoped for by early July, with implementation the following week.

Transcript
- Lewis KerrMorning, Sanne, Maarten. Good to speak with you both. Have you had a chance to look over the proposal I sent?
- Sanne de WitYeah, I've had a look. It's pretty much what Hannah showed us, which is good, but Maarten's got a couple of questions on the numbers.
- Maarten BosmanSo, the overall price is 25,500: is that one-off, or is there more down the line?
- Lewis KerrThat's all-in for the first year. There's a one-off implementation cost bundled in, and then a subscription. After year one, you'd renew just the subscription part.
- Maarten BosmanRight. So the subscription part, is that annual or monthly?
- Lewis KerrAnnual. We invoice once a year, in advance. You can request quarterly if that helps with your cash flow, but annual is the standard.
- Sanne de WitAnd that includes the check-ins or anything?
- Lewis KerrOn Starter, you get a check-in every six months, just to make sure you're getting value, any issues. If you want more frequent touchpoints, that's something we can discuss, but it's not included in the base package.
- Maarten BosmanOkay. And what's the renewal process? Do we have to sign a new contract each year?
- Lewis KerrWe send you a renewal notice ninety days before your contract ends. If you want to renew, we send you an order form with the new pricing and terms. You sign it, and we're good to go. If anything's changed, you've added users, you want more connectors, we can adjust it at that point.
- Sanne de WitWhat if we decide we don't need it anymore?
- Lewis KerrYou just let us know, and the contract ends when your term's up. There's a thirty-day notice clause, but as long as you've told us before that, you're fine.
- Maarten BosmanFair enough. And what about support? If something breaks?
- Lewis KerrOn Starter, you get standard support, we aim to respond to issues within four business hours. If something's broken badly, we prioritise it.
- Maarten BosmanAlright. I think this is fine. When would you need an answer by?
- Lewis KerrNo huge rush, we've got a few weeks. But if we can get a decision by early July, that means we can start implementation the following week and have you live by early August. Does that feel doable?
- Sanne de WitYeah, we can work towards that.
- Lewis KerrBrilliant. So what I'll do, I'll send you an order form today with all of those details on it. You can review it with legal or finance, and if you've got any tweaks, let me know. Other than that, just come back to me early July with a signature, and we're off.
- Maarten BosmanSounds good. I'll look over it and we'll get back to you.
- Lewis KerrGreat. Thanks for your time, both. Cheers.
