What happened: Daniel Okafor ran a check-in on 2 Apr 2024 with Jade Kenwright, Operations Director. She said three or four people use the brain regularly and the operations team uses it most days to check placements and invoices.
Customer view: Jade said the brain is more useful than expected, support has been good and her one ticket was sorted quickly. When Daniel flagged the renewal she said she reckons they will want to continue.
Commercial: The subscription renewal is a couple of months away and Daniel will be back in touch around May. HR data such as who works on which placements and leave records is a possible later connector, with no timing given.
Watch: Only Jade spoke for the customer, so the wider team's view is not shown. Any HR connector would need checking against the connector limit of the customer's tier.

Transcript
- Daniel OkaforThanks so much for making time, Jade. How are things going?
- Jade KenwrightGood, thanks. Actually busy using the brain now, which is nice. Much better than a few months ago.
- Daniel OkaforThat's brilliant to hear. I was actually looking at the usage numbers before the call, and they've come up nicely over the last few months. How many people are using it regularly now?
- Jade KenwrightI'd say three or four people now are using it regularly. It took a bit of time for people to get comfortable with it, but once they started finding answers in it, they kept coming back.
- Daniel OkaforThat's exactly what we like to see. And are they finding it useful for their day-to-day work, or is it more of an occasional thing?
- Jade KenwrightNo, it's becoming part of the workflow. The operations team especially, they use it most days now to check placements and invoices. It's definitely saving them time compared to logging into two different systems.
- Daniel OkaforThat's really valuable, that is. Just to close the loop, have you had any issues or anything that hasn't worked the way you expected?
- Jade KenwrightNothing major. I did have one question about why a particular field wasn't showing up, and I raised a ticket, and you lot sorted it pretty quickly.
- Daniel OkaforYeah, I saw that one. Glad we could help. Are there any features or data you'd like to add, or is everything working how you need it to?
- Jade KenwrightActually, we've been thinking about maybe bringing in some HR data eventually: like who's working on which placements, leave records, that kind of thing. But that's down the line. For now, what we've got is working well.
- Daniel OkaforThat's a good idea. We can definitely add connectors for that when you're ready. How is the team feeling about the contract overall? Are they happy with the value they're getting?
- Jade KenwrightYeah, I'd say they are. It's definitely more useful than we thought it would be in the early days. It's become a proper part of how we work now.
- Daniel OkaforThat's really good to hear, Jade. Just to check in: is there anything from our side you'd like to see improve, or any way we can better support you?
- Jade KenwrightNo, I think you're doing well. The support's been good, and things work as advertised. I'm happy.
- Daniel OkaforBrilliant. Just to flag, your contract's up for renewal in a couple of months. Nothing to worry about, but I'll be back in touch around May to discuss next year. How's that sounding?
- Jade KenwrightYeah, that's fine. I reckon we'll want to continue.
- Daniel OkaforBrilliant. Well, I'll leave you to it then. Thanks for the time, and I'll speak to you in May.
- Jade KenwrightCheers, Daniel. Speak soon.
