Nick Normanton and Fiona Ibbotson, Chief Executive, described fragmented portfolio, CRM and reporting data. Tom Ashdown positioned Growth with Salesforce, portfolio and email connectors. Nick asked what is next. No contract yet.

What happened: Tom Ashdown ran a discovery call on 2025-09-29 with Nick Normanton, Head of Client Services, and Fiona Ibbotson, Chief Executive. The chief executive joining a first call is a sign of senior interest.

Customer view: Fiona wants one view of a client's portfolio, performance, transactions and advisor notes. She said reporting relies on manual pulls for assets under management, client performance and fee trends.

Commercial: Tom proposed Growth, with Salesforce, the bespoke portfolio system and Microsoft email as sources, and an implementation of about two months. Nick said that would be valuable.

Watch: no price, decision date or next step is stated in the transcript. The portfolio system is bespoke, so connector effort is not yet shown.

Hi Nick, Fiona, thanks for making time. I wanted to understand how you're managing client and portfolio data at Greyfriar.
  2. Nick Normanton
    Nick Normanton None
Sure. So we're an independent wealth manager. We've got client portfolios in one system, client contact data in our CRM, and reporting is sort of fragmented across spreadsheets and a few other tools.
  3. Fiona Ibbotson

From my side, when a client calls, we want to give them a view of everything: their current portfolio, performance, recent transactions, their advisor notes. Right now, that takes a while to pull together.
  4. Tom Ashdown

How many clients are we talking about?
  5. Nick Normanton
    Nick Normanton None
Maybe a few hundred. And the team that works with them: advisors, paraplanners, client service, is probably fifteen, twenty people.
  6. Tom Ashdown
    Tom Ashdown None
And what systems are you on?
  7. Nick Normanton
    Nick Normanton None
CRM is Salesforce. Portfolio system is bespoke. And we've got email in Microsoft, which has some useful client communication history.
  8. Fiona Ibbotson

And the reporting: at the moment, we're doing a lot of manual pulls to understand assets under management, client performance, fee trends.
  9. Tom Ashdown
    Tom Ashdown None
So if we connected Salesforce, your portfolio system, and email, you'd have one place to ask about a client: holdings, performance, communications, everything. No more manual work.
  10. Nick Normanton
    Nick Normanton None
That'd be valuable. What tier are we looking at?
  11. Tom Ashdown
    Tom Ashdown None
Growth. Multiple teams, good analytics for your firm-level reporting, quarterly reviews to keep you on track.
  12. Fiona Ibbotson

    And timeline?
  13. Tom Ashdown
    Tom Ashdown None
Growth implementation is about two months. We scope the connectors, make sure your portfolio data is clean, run a training day. You'd be live well within that.

    Okay. What's next?
