What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Ashlowe's Head of Data and Finance Director heard a Growth quote of £44,000 a year plus £12,000 implementation. Security was the board's first concern. A proposal was promised the same day.
What happened: Lewis Kerr ran a 30-minute discovery call on 23 Jul 2025 with Chris Riley and Neil Bancroft. Lewis quoted Growth at £44,000 a year with £12,000 implementation, about eight weeks to live.
Customer view: Chris described slow answers for board and clinic directors, taking days. Neil asked for the investment and then confirmed the first year as sixty-two all-in.
Commercial: Neil said security would be the first thing the board asks. Lewis answered that the brain sits in Ashlowe's own Snowflake account, with IT choosing which fields are indexed.
Watch: Chris said IT might be busy towards the end of the summer, and end of September was floated as the target. The evidence does not show a signed order form from this call.

- Lewis to arrange a follow-up call with Chris and Neil in about two weeks.
Risks
Current to 9 Oct 26- Board security concern over patient data could slow approval of a Growth order form.
- Customer IT may be busy towards the end of the summer, which could delay the connectors.
Opportunities

Transcript
- Lewis Kerr NoneMorning, Chris, Neil, thanks for getting on the call. Hope the week's treating you okay?
- Chris Riley NoneGood thanks. Bit of a rush, but we're here.
- Lewis Kerr NoneI know the feeling. Right, before we dive in, can you both hear me clearly?
- Neil Bancroft NoneYes, clear.
- Lewis Kerr NoneBrilliant. So Chris and I have had a preliminary chat about what BB-Demo does, but let me set the scene for Neil and then we can go from there. We build a data layer that sits inside your Snowflake account: it pulls data from all your systems, CRM, calls, finance, whatever you've got, and lets your teams ask questions in plain English instead of waiting days for someone to stitch spreadsheets together.
- Lewis Kerr NoneI had a look at your operations and I reckon there's something here. Chris, is that roughly the pain you mentioned?
- Chris Riley NoneExactly. Data lives all over the place. When someone from the board or a clinic director needs a quick answer: about patient volumes, revenue, whatever, it's slow. It takes days sometimes.
- Lewis Kerr NoneThat's the gap we're solving. So what I wanted to understand is: which systems would be the priority to connect first?
- Chris Riley NoneCRM for sure, because that's where we record consultations and outcomes. Then the call recorder, we do a lot of phone consultations and that's gold for follow-up. Finance we'd want but it's less urgent.
- Lewis Kerr NoneThat makes sense. And would your IT team have bandwidth to work with us on the integration side?
- Chris Riley NoneYeah, they're pretty resourced. Might be a bit busy towards the end of the summer, but they'll make it work.
- Neil Bancroft NoneWhat's the investment we're talking about?
- Lewis Kerr NoneRight, so for a group your size, several teams, you mentioned, Growth is the sweet spot. That's annual subscription of forty-four thousand, and implementation is twelve thousand. Takes us about eight weeks to get you live with all the connectors wired up and your team trained.
- Neil Bancroft NoneSo we're looking at sixty-two all-in for the first year?
- Lewis Kerr NoneThat's right. Sixty-two for year one, implementation plus the annual fee. Then forty-four each year after.
- Chris Riley NoneAnd that's annual, we renew each year?
- Lewis Kerr NoneExactly. Annual contract, co-termed to your renewal date so everything lines up.
- Neil Bancroft NoneOkay. And what about security? That's going to be the first thing our board ask.
- Lewis Kerr NoneFair question. The whole brain lives in your Snowflake account. You own the data, you own the infrastructure. We'd work with your IT team to decide which fields get indexed in the brain and who can access it, so if there's sensitive patient data, we can protect that.
- Chris Riley NoneSo it's not sitting on your servers somewhere?
- Lewis Kerr NoneNo, lives in your cloud account. Fully in your control.
- Chris Riley NoneThat's helpful. And the timeline, if we wanted to go ahead, when would you be looking at?
- Lewis Kerr NoneI'd propose we send you a proposal: with scope, timeline, architecture notes, all the numbers, by early next week. You'd have a couple of weeks to review and chat internally, answer any questions on a follow-up call, then we'd sign the order form. From signature to live is eight weeks.
- Neil Bancroft NoneAnd when would you need us to commit?
- Lewis Kerr NoneI'm sensing end of September is realistic for you to be up and running?
- Chris Riley NoneYeah, that works.
- Lewis Kerr NonePerfect. So I'll get that proposal over today, both of you should have it by end of play. You have a look, and we'll get back together maybe in a couple of weeks? That gives you time to review and ask questions.
- Neil Bancroft NoneSounds good.
- Lewis Kerr NoneGreat. Cheers, both. Speak soon.
